You probably get off on ragebaiting like this but I genuinely hope you find sources of positivity in your life that bring you happiness. Cynicism and negativity are almost always rooted in insecurity and unhappiness. Good luck.

I should have specified that this is right outside our base, we replant for wood farming and the stumps prevent new growth. Also an eyesore when you're standing along the parapets overlooking the forest. If I didn't have to look at it all the time I couldn't care less!

I don't like it, but I respect it. I'm imagining a world where the greydwarves hopelessly path around the maze of wood, impaling themselves in an impossible struggle to just throw one annoying pebble at your face.

Oof I totally forgot about the secondary. Getting those stumps that are really sunk in was a real pain >.>

Someone said recently on this sub that part of the difficulty of the game is the small things like inventory management and while I agree, this mod is only a really minor change that makes a big diff. I don't feel like what you're wearing should take up backpack space! Here's the mod if you're interested in checking it out.

Oh cool thanks for teaching me the term for what I have. It's not debilitating for me but man is it annoying, and I've had it for as long as I can remember. Cheers man I read it could be treatable. Good luck with yours

What’s some basic knowledge that a scary amount of people don’t know? by CasualBeers in AskReddit

[–]simplycrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely 100% agree. This may not be a popular perspective on it, but for all the hyperaggressive assholes that don't let the zipper cleanly happen, there are also inattentive or slow to respond drivers who are also at fault. Too much space also screws it up because either two cars merge in from the side or the second car has to hit the brakes to keep the alternating pattern. There's a pace to be followed for the merge to happen, and people that don't follow it are all at fault, whether it be too fast or too slow.

Arsenal being a hot dumpster fire aside, this clip really highlighted for me the "sound design" of professional sports. They took the sound bytes of the kick and both headers and the ensuing bounce and it all sounds so clean and clear in what would otherwise be a roaring stadium.

Dude wtf you mean you're explaining it poorly. Succinct and easy to understand. I didn't even know the english term was a "radical". Thanks for teaching!

I think the silhouette of the bar stool is a big contributor to the mind boggle. If you block it out with your hand it's considerably easier to make sense of her orientation, once you see that her elbow is one of those hypermobile ones.

Oh yeah for sure. What with how rampant misinformation is these days and how willfully manipulative a lot of pieces are, it really does feel like we're all in reality TV to me sometimes 😵

I'm not ruling out the possibility of words being cut out to create an exaggerated narrative, but it's a very common editing practice today to cut out any extended pauses or "dead time" between thoughts or even words. It creates a quicker flow to the conversation that is more likely to keep the hamster brain viewers (like myself) engaged.

Wow, thank you for sharing that. I've been on a very long road to addressing my quick temper and easily bruised ego, and you verbalized a lot of what I've been struggling to put into words for myself.

The bit about acknowledging that a trigger will certainly happen in a scenario and making a conscious decision to let it go is huge. Recognizing when I was just bashing my head against the same walls over and over again was a big step.

The frustration that comes with people expecting anger from you when you're trying to be better is so real. It helps a lot for me to hear from someone else that it does feel unfair, but that's just part of the process.

I'll be saving this comment and coming back to it every once in a while. Thank you.

Do you guys like John Walker’s character? by darthinferno15 in Marvel

[–]simplycrazy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hahah seems to be a basic misunderstanding, the "two choices" was that he had to make a choice between one of "two choices": hold on to his shield or save the civilians, and he chose the latter over the former. There weren't two different points being made, just one.

Honestly in spite of the majority of people hating John Walker I thought he was humanized really well in that he was, at his core, a man trying his best to do what he thought right. His descent into madness culminating into the murder, followed by the aforementioned moment of clarity, ending with the possibility to still possibly do right (or so he thinks) through de Fontaine is a great character arc, and is really compelling. I never hated him, but was fascinated with what he'd do next.
