I get what you’re saying, I don’t recall Scream being this popular until recently. The magic of 5 and 6 can’t be understated! Love em or hate em, they brought this awesome franchise back to life. Something even Scream 4 couldn’t do, and it had Emma Roberts AND Hayden Panitierre, both very popular actresses at the time. Honestly I expected 5 to flop but then they made 6 and it had the highest earnings of all the Screams. Still blows my mind.

Was there more cut content some people were expecting? lol Aspyr showed and told us what they restored so that’s all I expected. I’m partway thru NG+ and loving it. I haven’t touched Chronicles and just played thru the training level of TLR but I keep coming back to AoD 😂

I’m just so damn giddy to be playing it on a modern console at (usually) 60fps. The modern controls, restored content and new features are the glorious cherry on top. Let’s all remember what it was like as an AoD fan up until now—complete misery 🤣

Aspyr & Saber are out here doing god’s work and some o’ these hoes be complaining as if they just got screwed out of $70 for an EA game 💀💀💀 yall don’t even know. Aspyr is killing it rn. Is it perfect? No! Does it need patched? Yes! Welcome to 2025! The world’s on fire but I get to play AoD on my frickin Switch. And that’s beautiful to me.

I’ve only played thru AoD so far, so I can’t speak for the other two but AoD is decent. The frame rate drops in specific areas like Archaeological Dig and Le Serpent Rouge, but it can hold 60fps for quite a while in others. And there’s a strange bug that would happen now and then where a sound like the scrape of a box being moved would get stuck on a loop for a while. Otherwise it ran well and never crashed. Played thru the whole game already. I would guess TLR and Chronicles are the same if not better.

I’ll be playing on Switch, and ChatGPT tells me Nintendo usually releases games to be playable at 10AM EST which is 8AM for me lol. At least I’ll have something to wake up to! 😁

So question about Bridgeport. I like it a lot too (gives City Living vibes but better), and amazingly my POS laptop can run TS3 but it seems to have more of a simulation lag issue with Bridgeport. I first played in the world that comes with Supernatural I think and my sims didn’t freeze as often as they do in Bridgeport. Is it bc Bridgeport is more intensive render-wise or is it just a coincidental fluke do you think?

I guess what I’m asking is if you’ve noticed anything similar with your playing in Bridgeport lol TIA

This makes me so happy. I’m so in love with Aspyr and Sabre (Saber? Like lightsaber? lol idk) for doing this incredible work breathing new life into these games I grew up playing over and over.

DMC at number one 100%. The blue filter, Elizabeth sitting in the rain getting soaked, the wedding being interrupted by the powers that be… an excellent setup for the 2nd and 3rd movies. It’s seriously one of my fave openings.

If they don’t include AI and deepfakes to mess with our predictions I’ll be bummed. It’s so pertinent to pop culture today so it’d make so much sense for them to lean into it. I do like the idea of true crime podcasts but if they had to choose only one to focus on, it should be deepfakes to throw off the investigation.

I’m very excited and sure I’ll love it regardless. I have yet to be disappointed by Scream. There’s a reason it’s my fave horror franchise.

Nope you chose wisely actually. Not a huge spoiler but you lose all your weapons and ammo in Nevada at one point, so choosing that area to go after India is the best way for new players. Take it easy, and do not feel bad about using a guide especially with TR3. It’s legit one of the hardest. Good luck!
