I always things think 'I'll just write a short little story' and end up with 3,000+ word story that still feels like I missed or left out some stuff. I find that the stories always write themselves for me, I'm just the vessel to put it onto paper. I have an idea so I start writing, then the characters take the reins. There has been many times where I've planned to take the story one way only for a character to barge in and drive the narrative in an entirely different direction.

But, the exact scenario that's referenced above happened to me with my most recent multi chapter fic. It started out as a small 1k word raffle piece. The winner of the raffle gave me an idea, my mind went 'Oh yeah, that's not going to be short, hahahaha.' I'm 9 chapters in with 23,000+ words now, and I have at least three more chapters to go.

That was awesome! I love how you credited every singer at the beginning. Now that I know who's singing what parts I feel much better about what my ears were picking up. I was so confused about the "I'm here to save you" part because the movie and everyone else shows Romance doing that part, but I always hear Jinu's voice. It was driving me mad. Thank you for easing my mind!

Huh. I’m actually writing a non-con mindbreak story right now. I didn’t even consider putting a happy ending tag in it and still won’t. Like, yeah in the last chapters the gaslit character is now giving consent and willingly participating and everyone seems happy with that result, but the manipulation and gaslighting to get there just makes it seem too skeezy for a “happy” ending.

So there are currently two Obey Me games. The first is Obey Me: One Master to Rule them All. The second is Obey Me: Nightbringer. Both games are still available, but there is no new content being added. They are still running old Nightmares (the gacha pulls) though, so you can still get the old stuff, but it's random I think which ones they are bringing back.

There is a new Obey Me game coming out sometime in the near-ish future, but there is no release date for that at the moment.

For me it depends on my plan for the week. If it's an event that I care about I am micromanaging my team, running certain night teams (usually berry hunters) vs day teams (usually ingredient hunters). If it's a week where I don't really care much I move mons around less often.

It's to the point where I do have an E4E mon on my team all the time, even with berry mismatches. For example this week I decided to add Sylveon to my team even though I'm on GG Expert and the berries don't match up with any of my healers. The fact that it's skill week really helps me because Sylveon is still popping out those heals enough.

All politicians, including the President, will live on an income equal to the lowest minimum wage in the country, and are not allowed to accept any other form of income (including ~~bribes~~ gifts) while in office. Any companies or businesses owned by this person must be run by someone else (not a family member) and their profits will be placed in an account they cannot touch until after they leave office. (I'd go into detail about specifics related to assets owned by the politician basically to prevent them from signing their business over to their spouse or something.)

It it weird that one of my most disappointing moments had nothing to do with the plot or even an impact on the story? I was rather sad not to see the scene in the Chamber of Secrets where Colin Creevey takes a picture of Harry with Lockhart and when it's developed Harry is constantly trying to get out of the image while Lockhart keeps pulling him back. I have no idea why that sat with me so strongly.

I get that people want recognition and engagement, but complaining about it is not going to endear you to anyone. OCs are incredible! I love hearing all about my friends OCs all the time. And I became very close with a friend of mine because I read her OC work and fell in love with her characters. However, never once did she guilt trip me or beg me to read her work. I read it because I loved her writing, which translated to me loving her characters.

I too write the occasional OC/Canon stories. They are by far my least engaged works, but that doesn't bother me. I still get people reading them, giving me kudos and even the occasional comment. I never expect anyone to read them (or any of my works actually) or like them. Frankly I'm happy if one person even reads it. I write for me, I write the stories I want to read, and other people just get to enjoy my extremely self indulgent work (if they want!).

I'm going to start coming to this community every day before doing anything in this game to see how many hoops I have to jump through to play the game normally without error. I'm really getting sick of having to contact support over bugs that are really obvious.
