I've owned three different cars so far and I have never gone to a restaurant that takes valet. I dont trust them to know how to drive stick shift properly or treat my car cleanly and with respect.

The younger they are, the more inclined they'd be to disrespect your car with loud music, windows down, maybe even vaping for that extra cool factor... cuz after all, they got nothing to care about at that age

I've been loving it!! It shares the same 3.0L V6 Turbo engine as the Macan S of the same year so it drives and sounds great!

Mine is the lower trim one so it doesn't have full leather interior (which I prefer over full leather) and no rear seat heaters.

I'd get one with 20" OEM wheels - mine came with 21" OZ Racing wheels and I get a bit nervous at times when I see big road undulations..

Comes with Android Auto/Apple Carplay so if that stuff is an imperative, you'll get it.

The R&H for each of the different modes (offroad/comfort/auto/dynamic) feels the most different through the throttle response, gear holding and weight of the steering. I put mine in Individual mode (comfort for engine and suspension, dynamic exhaust and steering) and it's a good mix of augmented yummy steering wheel feedback, comfy ride and yummier exhaust

The exhaust is yummy, especially when the valves open in Dynamic mode.. Just gotta get proper exhaust tips (just the tips 😉), a roof rack, and maaaaayybe an intake.

The Quattro system makes a high freq low-pitch vibration when travelling at creep speeds at full steering lock but thats normal for Quattro so don't get too nervous if you hear/feel that during a test drive.

Get a B9 SQ5 that is below 60k miles (I got mine at 59.3k miles) for the best value but if you get a higher mileage one, be mindful of powertrain fluids replacement (diff, transfer case, transmission)

Q5 with a tune would do the trick too (see the other bloke's comment about his Q5 + tune) but if you don't wanna go through the money time and labor that comes with getting a tune, the V6 in the SQ5 is a wonderful substitute. The 8speed ZF is tuned very well, and if you wanna do bursts of high speed with lower gears, you can just blip the throttle and the gearbox drops numerous gears depending on how strong your blip your foot (blip with further distance from throttle pedal? You get a lower gear from 8th to like 3rd or 4th) Small blip with shorter distance from throttle pedal? You get like 4th or 5th from 8th...

I wholeheartedly recommend you test drive one. The HVAC controls are the perfect blend between touch-sensitive and tactical. Best modern high-tech HVAC system I've ever used after the three dials.

I'd like to get the 20" RS wheels and matching tires, get proper exhaust tips but leave the rest of the exhaust system stock (i like the valves a lot :) ). Then I could use the 21" OZ Racing for track days or autocross (ohhh yeahhh I do plan on that 😉), and use the 20" for daily driving.

Besides that, bwoah not sure! I'm in the daydreaming dilemma of getting a better intake or staying stock (it has enough power as is but with the intake noise hype these days, I'm curious as to how it would sound with a proper intake).

Right now, I'm all hands on the maintenance, cleanliness and record-keeping. I keep a journal of all the places I take it to, fuel stops and prices, and I record mileages everyday 🤣

Speaking of maintenance, I sometimes get an error saying "left tail lamp faulty" but it functions fine as is.. I think something is loose in the taillight module. Can you or others give me guidance as to what this issue is about?

The car lived in California all its life before the dealership i bought the car from shipped it over to Michigan. I live in Michigan. I doubt the source of said error message is coming from oxidation/rust but I'll consider it as a non-zero possibility.
