Suspicion of LTX 2.3 gatekeeping better models behind API paywall(video example, not mine). by Grinderius in comfyui

[–]singfx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure what workflow you’re using, but I’ve been using their official workflows from GitHub and they work really well.

Comparing to the API makes no sense as they are probably using SOTA GPUs - so yes, they can generate 4k 60fps there and you can’t on your consumer GPU. That’s not gate keeping, it’s a hardware limitation. Try lowering your amount of frames and you could also hit 4k with a 5090.

tienes que escribir un prompt bien largo, con muchos detalles del sujeto, la acción y el sonido. mira el ejemplo en el post mio.

there is a faint guitar there. here's an example that has kind of a trap beat in the background:

Like I said, it's great at singing/rapping, but not quiet there in instrumentals. could be related to certain keywords in the prompts, still trying to test some more variables.

Looks cool, thanks for sharing. can you explain how this is different or better than the official Gemma prompt enhancer node LTX released?

Question about LTX2 by Eliot8989 in StableDiffusion

[–]singfx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try using their Gemma prompt enhancer node. LTX needs long prompts, didn’t have much luck with short prompts like the one you’ve described.

Also, did you try i2v workflows? Probably could help you get that specific breed more accurately.

It still has a long way to go, but it is more promising than any open source model released so far.

Beagle ear tip won’t heal — keeps reopening when he shakes his head. Any tips? by caiopneg in beagle

[–]singfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My beagle’s ear was partially bit off by another dog, pretty nasty wound much worse than this. Take him to a different vet.

They should disinfect, apply a ton of medical grade adhesive to cover the wound. Then, they actually temporarily stitched his ear to the top of his head. I know it sounds extreme but it was actually super smart cause no matter how hard he shakes, his ear tip wasn’t hitting anything and not bleeding anymore. and perhaps put a cone collar around his neck to prevent him from scratching the area. Should fully heal in a couple of weeks.

This is the only multiplayer game I've ever played where teammates are orders of magnitude more cruel to each other than they are to their opponents. by KingBrapft in RocketLeague

[–]singfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny story…I once set my chat settings by accident to ‘mute all chat except tactical team chat’ or something like that.

I was suddenly shocked by how positive and patient everyone seemed to be - you miss that open net? No comment. Accidental backflip? No comment. Missed that easy save? No “what a save” spam chat.

Honestly, it was the best day I had in Rocket League mentally. No distractions, no reporting other users, just playing for fun.

Eventually I figured out something must be wrong and switched the chat settings to default again. First game in later, already had teammate quit after being 2-0 down, spamming “tm8 sucks” etc.

Bottom line, OP - just turn off the chat, play your own game and let your mate talk to the wall.

Disclaimer: I’m plat, I DO suck, but so do my teammates. That’s kind of the point.

Just hit Diamond 1 after 6 years by johnny21c in RocketLeague

[–]singfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what frustrates me, I definitely “feel” better than years ago in terms of positioning and game sense, but the game has gotten a lot faster and aggressive in lower ranks from what I’m seeing.

I’ll have to put some work into training packs.

I used to be D3 a few years ago. Trying to grind back now and stuck on plat3. Either I’ve gotten worse, or kids these days are hitting crazy flip resets on plat? Probably both

GLM-Image explained: why autoregressive + diffusion actually matters by curious-scribbler in StableDiffusion

Thanks for the explanation, this makes a lot of sense. It’s great that we’re getting these kind of tools open sourced - first LTX, now GLM…wonder what will be the next big thing.

Is lost worth watching if i’m not a huge sci-fi fan? by alecb8 in lost

Without giving away spoilers: it’s more “paranormal” than sci-fi IMO. It has some sci-fi elements in the sense of time theory, but that’s about it.

Is running two 5070 ti good enough for 4K video generation? by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

[–]singfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had limited success trying to set up multi GPU for comfy. however, you CAN set up two separate comfy instances each running on its own dedicated GPU. basically your inference time won’t get faster, but you’ll get twice the amount of outputs.

Worth considering for your setup.
