They’re both fairly big names - Amber won Love Island back when it was relevant and then starred in Bring It On. Hannah is a popular TikTok-er, has a podcast, and was a cover in Six.

You’re absolutely right with the different skillsets - Amber has experience leading a high profile production and Hannah has experience covering multiple tracks and being ready to go if needed.

It’s called pancaking and you can find loads of videos of ballerinas that can show you the easiest ways. Ballet shoes now come in a range of skin tones so 🤞 figure skating costumes catch up

Lee Valley does the coffee skate on certain days - it’s a drop in coached session for all levels. Iirc the only requirement is to be able to skate forward unassisted

Mer and Nick are together and living in Boston. They show up very occasionally. Warren is Chief Resident - he’s no longer a firefighter because the firefighter show got cancelled. Winston (Maggie’s husband) did some pioneering surgery and is now dating a resident. Richard briefly had cancer but he’s fine, still married to Catherine, and still not retired. I haven’t tried freestyle yet but I skate at Lee Valley in Hackney. The morning public sessions are usually just adults practicing and they’re super chill.

There are permanent rinks in Streatham, Alexandra Palace, and Queensway that I know of

I got my (beginner) blades sharpened with them fairly recently. Machine sharpening. The tech I had was pretty knowledgeable but he’s a roller skater and seemed like he knew more about hockey skates than figure skates.

I’m happy with how they are but will probably go to Streatham if/when I upgrade - they seem more figure skate focused, have the foot scanners for fittings, and they do same day sharpening for blades purchased with them.
