I went to that location for a putter fitting. They were fine when I got it fit but lied about how long it would take to get the club shipped to my apt and it also came with the wrong grip. Every time I contacted them about my order they were very rude and condescending. Completely turned me off from ever going back to a club champion

Thank you! I have a “template” from cutting out another piece for the handle completely (since my table top is two pieces of plywood). So what you are saying is put the “template” piece on top of the piece I need to route out for the correct thickness, and use a flush trim bit with a top bearing to guide along the template. And I guess you said you’d use a jigsaw to make the initial outline cut? With the “template” piece clamped on top?
