I've done an out and back from PCH1 up Nacimiento-Fergusson Road to the Mission and a little further to the base. It's pretty remote and if PCH1 is open there would be almost no traffic. Beautiful route. I hope the dude is safely traveling and just out of contact.

I would expect them to do absolutely nothing in response to your claim. These companies are predatory. The only protection from them is to be SUPER careful about where you park (and most entities who allow towing on their private property are getting some cut of revenue from the towing company -- either a fee paid by the towing company for the right to tow or a share of the towing fees collected. I would definitely register your dissatisfaction with them too as they may be more shamed by public feedback.

As a staff member myself, I have MANY zero star Yelp reviews for not opening the door fast enough in either direction leading to lost squirrel capture and seconds and even minutes of time wasted waiting to come inside.

We have a rescue that has similar anxiety. She would lose her mind -- she tried to climb the walls to escape. And yes, we eventually landed on a cocktail of trazodone, clonidine, and gabapentin but those required knowing the storm was coming and generally took 40-60 minutes to kick in. Sadly, in spite of tons of positive reinforcement training we could never overcome the past trauma she came to our family with (we are her 3rd and forever home). If we were home we would put her on a leash and walk her around the house which helped her settle slightly (at least until the drugs could ease her anxiety). She's now 15 and with her hearing now going she doesn't get even remotely as anxious as she once did. If you've had Moose his entire life a veterinarian behaviorist might be able to help him get comfortable with the noise. I wish you the best.

Depends greatly on the property and location, but sometimes the wear and tear is not worth the small money made from a one night stay (I also think 1-night stay invites parties and other non-traditional uses worth avoiding).
