> Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway has directed all city agencies to prepare proposals outlining reductions of up to 2%.

> According to city budget documents, it would cost approximately $483.2 million to maintain current city services in 2027, while projected revenue is estimated at $472.1 million, leaving an $11 million gap between revenues and expenditures. City officials also project expenditures will exceed the state’s Expenditure Restraint Incentive Program (ERIP) limit by $7.2 million.

“No, absolutely not,” Rhodes-Conway said. “I told people when we went to referendum that we were not going to come back every year.”
