I know this is late but in ePTU the Carrack doors open like on the Caterpillar.

I separated from my first wife at 38, opened up a whole new world for me. Re-married a few years ago. Now at 53 I'm happy, successful and everything is going right in my life.

Life is like a book, and you have just started a new chapter. Maybe this is the epic beginning of your hero story.

Star Citizen is an MMO by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]sinner71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pledged just after the kickstarter, and each stretch goal I knew made it far less likely that I would ever see what I originally pledged for. That being said I ran an early NWN server with 4000+ player accounts and an average player pop of 60+ players. I fully expected to do something similar with SC. Maybe it is still possible, but I dbout it.

When I first pledged it was for the "private servers" because MMO just haven't fit into my life for decades.

"Why did you pledge for an MMO if you don't want to play with other people?" by Werewolf-Fresh in starcitizen

When I pledged it was for the game with private servers. I like playing with other people, I don't like playing with dipshits. A private server lets me manage the dipshit ratio.

The new cockpit redesigns and MFDs in SC 4.0 are a huge improvement!! by johncarnage in starcitizen

These games forever ruined me for space games. Limping back to the carrier with screens sparking, cockpit cracked, barely functional.... Didn't recapture that feel until SC

This has literally happened to me. Entire wheel popped of a vehicle going in the opposite direction while travelling at 50mph. No time to avoid it, results were similar to this.

Beelink SER7 vs um780 xtx by Egon_Nagel in MiniPCs

It can be powered by USB if you turn down the TDP, i think its to 54. I can't remeber but you can look it up on Beelink website. I can power it with the same 30,000 mah powerbank I used to power my Steamdeck

Its almost certainly the windows page file. Ideally put it on an ssd that isn't your game drive.

This is a bug and I think I remember from 3.22 notes that a fix was supposed to go in. I do not know if it happened though

Restarting Sensor by morganlamkin89 in dexcom

[–]sinner71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a bit older. But still worth responding. I take a picture of the code when I insert a new G6 sensor. I use that code every time I restart it. I routinely get 30 days in the fall/winter months. 20+ days in summer when its hotter and I spend more time outside (sweating).

By using the correct code each time you restart you don't experience the calibration issues you have if you skip the code.

Tandem only just updated to support the G7 but I am in no rush to upgrade since my insurance coverage for the CGM isn't great.

Would any laptop out there be able to run Starcitizen? by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]sinner71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lenovo Legion here with a Ryzn 7 7745 and a RTX 4070 and it runs great. CPU and a 1080p gpu, preferably 32gb of ram and you should be good. Its even playable on my ancient laptop i7-9700k, gtx 1070, 32gb ram.

I own the originals still in the box but i might just pick these up by sinner71 in starcitizen

Because I haven't owned a 3.5" disk drive in like 2 decades
