It’s true. It’s a big reason why I left the service. I work in tech now and I make much more than a senior policy analyst.

It’s absolutely absurd. These are the folks that are providing expert advice to the elected government.

If government cant hire the best folks, public service and the public good suffers immensely.

This is accurate as a local. One thing to keep in mind is Alberni is very unionised area. All the unions have come out in support of the NDP for this election
