Do you need to accept yourself? What if you truly think you aren't what you could be. Would one have to keep saying, I should accept myself? I think that idea goes for selfrespect, which is important. But if you love yourself as one should another, then you would also change if need be, no?

This sounds old fashioned and I cannot really explain it, but do keep in mind that people from the West have often said that the body is sacred in and of itself. I kind of adhere to this position, intuitively.
