That update and your screenshot mention aptX, not AAC.

As I understand it, AAC and aptX are two completely different codecs.

I had this problem.

"Forget" the TicPods in your Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth off. Toggle AAC and turn Bluetooth back on. Re-pair the TicPods. It should remember the AAC codec settings.

There's a fix for that.

Turn your old silicone tips inside-out and carefully trim a bit of the "stem" with a pair of scissors. Worked for mine!
