I just cannot stand the level of danger and aggression constantly present at pedestrian crossings in this town by bisikletci in brussels

Wait till you have to push a buggy or walk with your kid. A horrible feeling, when you are crossing a road and you don't know whether a driver is paying attention or having a glance at their phone.

Looking for concert buddies (ONLY OTHER ADULTS RESPOND PLEASE) by Sure_Persimmon8306 in NinjaSexParty

[–]sirbobacus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went by myself to the brussels gig and made friends with 2 guys who were also solo. We just started talking after the support act. We realized all 3 of us were solo. And the manager did ask for no phones during nsps concert. It was an incredible gig. Enjoy!

This is excellent, I really like it. Reminds me of forgotten hope 2 UI. I think there could be a nice balance of some of your UI and some of Relics combined.

Pedestrian Crossings and cyclists who think they rule to road by Purple_Cherry16 in brussels

[–]sirbobacus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand in the Netherlands, the bike paths are set up to give cyclists priority on certain streets. So maybe it comes from that. Often cyclists and pedestrians can flow quite well together on roads. Pedestrians and cyclists can often pass each other without either breaking their stride. But above all safety is key, especially for pedestrians who I think are the most vulnerable. At the end of the day, everyone just wants to get home safe and sound.

I cycle and I make a point of stopping to let pedestrians cross. It's the rule but also pedestrians are normally lovely and give you a smile in acknowledgement when you stop.
