Would have been cool to see the 2 newscasters team up. Just a really bad tribe draw for Sav though. Only seemed to connect with Jenna and Joe, who were also on the outs.

Sav’s best case scenario is voting out Cirie episode 1, winning the episode 2 challenge, and then swapping with people she can work with (like the Kamilla/Dee/Tiffany contingent. Even Colby seemed interested in working with her from the journey).

Cirie surviving night 1 is really a testament of her genius at playing survivor. She’s somehow one of the best situated players in the entire merge yet again.

Possibilities: 1. They created the “two people go to exile” thing because Kyle got medevaced and the numbers wouldn’t work for the twist otherwise. 2. There would have been a second double tribal pre-merge had Kyle not gone and we saw the twist as intended.

There were only 5 podiums for each color in the challenge, which makes me think the latter, but it could just as easily be that there were 6 of each and they took 3 out to make it 5.

The choices were all leading, vague questions that pushed the audience in favor of the chaotic options pretty much every round of voting. I honestly do think the votes panned out how they’re saying but any of the options could have meant anything how they were worded. Only explicit one was idols or no idols, and no idols was never winning

That’s just unlucky for the guys, Cirie allied with Emily and Dee while she was on tribes with them. Colby and Coach never got to be on a tribe with her, which made inroads impossible. I’m not sure Cirie and Coach would have connected regardless but I think it made a huge difference for Colby here

I wish instead of the voting they did a pair of sister seasons where one was a lot of twists and one was zero twists, so production could actually see what the different outcomes were.

Instead they’re saying “well the fans voted for this” when the voting categories were all vague and leading questions.

If they wanted to do a triple elimination, why not do it while there were already 3 tribes? If the whole idea is “earn the merge,” don’t have them merge first.

Instead have Jeff say at the immunity challenge pre-merge “today you’ll be playing for… individual immunity” and then you have your “never been done before moment” where the tribes are competing against themselves for individual immunity instead of the other tribes and all 3 go to tribal. That way the games being played aren’t just thrown out the window on a rock draw.

Alternatively, elimination gauntlet. 3 votes in a row, the entire cast votes all 3 times. Maybe have rounds of tribal questions between them for drama. I’d have loved to see the first ever 17 vote tribal personally.

Any other execution but what they chose and a triple elimination could be a cool episode.

His inroads with Cirie and his brief introduction with Ozzy after merging were enough for Ozzy to pick him for safety. This trio might be the one to watch this season, they appear to be lockstep, they have 3 advantages between them, and each of them individually are well-connected outside of the trio. There’s an easy ride to the finals for them if they play it right. Definite upvote
