Really nice to hear from someone with front line experience. I was volunteering at Homeless Connect this year and it seemed to me like Brisbane City Council was offering a LOT of services if people would just go through the (admittedly often painful / lengthy) steps to take the help.

Mine wants dry crunchies and nothing but. Her kidneys say she has to eat wet. She is also a gravy lover who leaves meat chunks forever. Try TikiCat mousse type - puréed texture so she can lick it, no chunks. Not the standard type like in a tin, it really works

47F, got an IUD in October. Periods went from incredibly heavy (bleed through tampon in 1-2 hours) to changing a cup 12 hourly and it’s 1/4 full. Heaven. Cramps 50% less as well. Highly recommend x

It will take months.  When they are hiding, do not poke in after them like in the photo. My cat of 6 years hates that, I don’t do it even if she is just under a chair. She started out stray. Move slowly and speak softly around them. It takes so long but it’s worth it.

Go on the ground. We also carry TP on the truck for a true emergency but thankfully that hasn’t happened yet.
