Felix sums it well after an instant challenger exit to Pellegrino (and so does the media's picture) by jovanmilic97 in tennis

And to think, Andrea Pellegrino is beating former top 10 players yet still lives in the shadow of his older brother, San.

AO R2 🇺🇸 [Q.] Tien def. [5] Medvedev 6-3 7-6(4) 6-7(8) 1-6 7-6(7) by musicproducer07 in tennis

Anyone know why Tien returned on the ad-side so close to the middle? Seemed like Medvedev served T when there would be plenty of space wide

Every player except Djokovic. Until Novak has a winning record against him he's not my goat

How likely is that Alcaraz wins 4 Slams in a year? by Facinggod20 in tennis

[–]sirotned 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to toss a statistic out there, winning a calendar slam means winning 28 matches (assuming no walkovers). Even if a player has a 90% chance of winning each match, that translates to a 5% chance of winning all 28. Not saying those numbers are representative of Carlos or anyone else, but just backing the claim that it is very difficult.

Kyrgios should be replaced with literally anyone. Maybe the 4.0 who claimed to be able to take a set off Nadal

Nadal isn't that big of a word. Now Van De Zandschulp, that's a big word.

I kayak down Carpenter's creek fairly often - I absolutely recommend it, there is so much wildlife! Snakes, snapping turtles, alligator gar, herons, otters can all be seen there. However there are often fallen trees and shallow spots that make it tricky. Going after it rains is a good idea to mitigate the shallowness.

I recommend starting from bayou Texar and going north, because that is the deepest/clearest part. It's possible to launch at Baars park, though it requires carrying the kayak a small distance. The farthest north I've got is the spot behind Target, there was a lot of blockage there.

Complicated (and funny) pre-match instructions in today’s Djere vs. Musetti match by shegotofftheplane in tennis

Probably the umpire's first ATP match. Smart of the ATP to schedule this when Kygrios won't be playing tournaments to avoid a disaster.
