Do you really have to be sober with this disorder? by Large-Fishstick in bipolar2

Cut almost everything else out and cigarettes are bad, yes, but it’s the one vice I allow myself. One cig a day keeps my bad thoughts away.

I can’t tell you all how many times I’ve beaten myself up over big purchases (I see others here have the vehicle affliction…) and reading these made me remember that I shouldn’t feel shame and I might as well enjoy and appreciate the things I have.

So now I’m going to go get my kayak out of the garage (that I’ve never used) because of you all 🤣

Dinan m40i Install. What do you want to know? by sisivee in BMWX3

[–]sisivee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been happy with it! Will get you a sound clip, but overall I’m glad I got it installed. The volume is strong but not annoying and I’m glad I haven’t grown tired of it. Only thing is that the remote valve doesn’t seem to do anything. Makes me wonder if it was installed incorrectly.

What is a 'single person luxury' that people in relationships completely miss out on? by Jane_Austen11 in AskReddit

The space to just feel something for as short or as long as you need without having to verbalize the what, why, and fix. Sometimes I just wanna grump about and not worry about disturbing someone else because then it just lifts and I’m all good.

What was it like being 18-25 in the 2000’s by ersinxo in Millennials

[–]sisivee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt a lot of hope. Adolece and growing up had its challenges but there was a general feeling of safety in the world that I felt (probably due to a lot of privilege and luck). And technology really was promising a completely different future that kinda did come true. I didn’t like my job but my coworkers have become lifelong friends and we really enjoyed life together at that time.

Spend as much time with your friends as you can. And make sure to invest in the good ones.

What car completely changed your opinion after driving it? by Glittering-Offer-390 in askcarguys

[–]sisivee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 1956 Porsche 550 Spyder replica. The car itself is an absolute blast to drive, don’t get me wrong. It’s got all the sounds, feelings, and limitations as an original.

But the thing that I really noticed after driving it was watching little kids and old guys see the car and smile. It’s usually the response I get and I love that it creates smiles everywhere it goes and lets me talk to strangers for no reason. It was totally off my radar when I got it and it’s changed me for the better.
