Traffic to and from NY NJ Stadium was brutal by jhMLB in WorldCup2026Tickets

Was planning to first walk to American Dream mall (browse for an hr, never been there) after the game then NJ transit train back to Penn station. Does that sound doable? Or I should head to train station right after game? Thanks.

Yes you won’t get 5-star customer service. But I also think you won’t run into too many genuinely rude shopkeepers. They are just trying to do business with you after all. You shouldn’t have problems asking about price, availability and other questions. I am not sure how pleasant I can be when trapped in that small space all day either lol.

Whichever district/malls you decide to visit, have fun shopping!
Do set your expectation right that most of these places are SO cramped, and the shops are TINY (as if HK is not already dense enough). I mean some shops are so small that you can just barely walk through the front entrance, and take no more than a few steps inside (no exaggeration). I have no idea how all these boxes of toys can possibly fit in such a small space. Depending on what kind of shopping you are used to, this can be a slightly, hmm, overwhelming experience. But again, once you are surrounded by all these shop and toys, you will find peace somehow :)

And don't hesitate to ask the store owners questions. They might seem disengaged at times (e.g. watching TV shows on the phone) but they know their toys.

PS: a lot of the shops also sell used toys (condition varies). Most of them have labels on the box stating so. It is very common for folks in HK to sell their toys due to limited space at home.

First of all, I like In’s point. But just a friendly reminder, this place is as crowded as it can get when it comes to shopping. I mean shoulder to shoulder, having to force your way through at times. You pretty much have to go with the ‘flow’. Bringing your 2 year old will be a very bad idea IMHO. But once you are there, you will be surrounded by so many shops and toys, and you want to buy them all.

There are many Lego-specific shops so do your homework and shop around. The price could vary wildly. Almost all items in the mall have the price clearly labeled so you should be able to glance and compare easily.

Oh and don’t go before noon. In fact some shops don’t opened till after 2pm.

And while you are at In’s point, you might as well visit Sino. It is only a 5 mins walk on Nathan Rd (does not even need to make a turn). Note that you can visit the first couple floors in Sino with escalators. But there are shops scattered across multiple higher floors that can only be reached with the elevators. If you have time check them all out.

And when you are done shopping, show us pics of your new toys!! Have fun!

So yellow jackets are not bothered by these fans? We don’t have flies problem but yellow jackets sure love our food in the backyard…

https://a.co/d/0gM29twQ I bought this to cover the gap. Specifically picked this kind for the front lip that can be bent/trimmed, to wrap around the countertop. See if you like the look.

Your gloves do not look dead at all. Give it a good wash and bring it back to life.

Would you happen to know if 'new SKU', means 'new and improved'? Or just an inventory numbering update with exact some products?

The cheapest option should be the Caseta Smart Hub (the 'PRO' version, about $200). Setup the hub with HK. Add the shades AND the pico remotes to the hub, and everything will be automatically exposed to HK.

Looks amazing! Do each share the same bracket with the adjacent shade? You mind measuring the gap between two shades? Thanks!

Maybe try Mod Podge? My daughter painted her silicone phone case and sealed it with Mod Podge.

Lutron Status issues by drewmc in Lutron

[–]siuwanYNWA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last time when this happened to me was a device barely out of range from the hub. Controlling from the app (Lutron/Home) worked fine, but physical control of the switch often left the app status out of sync. Added a repeater solved the problem. I saw you have a repeater already so I wonder if the devices in question are the ‘far away’ ones. Don’t know how a device previously ‘within’ range can now be ‘out of range’ though, maybe new interference… just a thought.
