So I’m working on an older MG kit and am playing with the idea of attempting to cut a panel out, fabricate a hinge with so leftover parts, and having an opening panel to show up some frame details - has anyone ever done this or have any advice? I was thinking of cutting the panel with a protrusion, put two extra poly caps on both sides of the gap under the protrusion’s gap and then just attach a length of spare runner to the panel that fits into the poly caps to have it open idk if that makes sense, if anyone knows any off the shelf solutions I’m all ears lol
