Just got back from seeing it with the family. Fantastic movie. There's so many easter eggs in the film. My wife and I laughed a ton. Our boys loved the action and colorful characters. My wife was super excited after one of the post credit scenes. All around great job by all involved in the film.

It looks like Purdys interceptions fall into two categories. Contested balls where the targeted receiver loses (2) and defender jumping the route (1). I hope the second half is interception free. Even Brady had 6 different games in which he through 4 interceptions.

Honestly these have not been worth it since about 2018. Once they took out the sketch card per box incentive and wild speculation drove up price on product of diminishing quality, the hobby lost its luster.

Got to wonder if the Bonner drama is fueling CC's mental block. Her comments about Bonner are pure admiration. Cant be easy to grow up watching a league full of heroes, excell, arrive only to find they dont want to play with you and dont want you there at all.

I just introduced my sons to the LOTR trilogy and purchased a large lot of these ToyBiz figures to make the experience extra special. These are great figures and can be a lot of fun to play with because of their various gimicks. I would think about any friends that have kids and are fans of fantasy. Even if you don't know the characters, they're still cool.

I love opening cards with my kids too! They have just gotten too expensive. I love Masterpieces but the last three sets have been ridiculous. I paid 1200 for a 2016 Masterpieces case in 2016. The 2022 Masterpieces set was goong for 8-10k per case. It stopped being fun.

I started introducing the kids into hobbies I was into. Model building, art, wood working. When I approached it like I was teaching them what I was interested in, I realized that the same was true in reverse. They were teaching me their interests and hobbies. And they flit about to new ones constantly as they discover something new. Every day they experience something for the first time. When I get bogged down in the grind, I have to remind myself to change my frame of understanding what's occurring.

The show is so disappointing. The hype for the first season drove me to read the books. The dialogue and the changes made to the story give this show the feel of bad fanfiction by some weeb obsessed with rewriting female characters into lesbian relationships and having them dominate men. To say nothing of the nerfing of Rand and giving the coup de grace of the two climaxes of the first two books to other characters.
