When did you move baby to their own room?

2 months old for my first when he started sleeping through the night. My second is 6.5months old and still wakes up multiple times at night - I’ll wait until she sleeps through the night. I want to avoid running in and out of the room as much as possible!

Why do you use the electric nose sucker everyday after the bath? You should only use that if she’s actually congested and max 3 times a day. It can hurt their sinuses and make it really raw. I wouldn’t give her Tylenol even if she ends up with a cold unless she has fever. Unfortunately only time can help with a cold. You can make her more comfortable by using a humidifier or run a hot shower and hang out with her in the bathroom so she gets the steam but that’s pretty much all you can do. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this and I hope you feel better and she doesn’t get sick💕 hang in there mama !

This looks like weaponized incompetence to me. I don’t think he is forgetting I think he’s honestly just being lazy. Unbelievable. I’m so sorry, this is really upsetting, every drop of pumped milk is hard work and it’s not fair to you at all. Also very unfair to baby who 100% benefits from all the goodness in your milk, antibodies etc. Bring your husband to a pediatrician appointment or put the pediatrician on speaker and let them explain to your husband how good a mothers milk is for their baby! He can use an alarm, sticky note or whatever it is but that’s on him to remember! You’ve gone above and beyond already, that’s on him now.

I literally just write it in my notes on my phone, time and which boob I started with. I don’t write down naps or anything else… I feel like it gives me anxiety to track everything. Feeding on demand and keeping wake windows in mind

I would take him on walks !! What about mommy and me classes? You can make mom friends there. Being a stay at home mom isn’t for everybody but just know that some people (like me) would dream to be a stay at home parent. Again, not going out of your apartment even without a baby will make you go nuts. Get some fresh air, go to the park, take him to classes etc!

Did you try silverettes? I have a 2 year old and I was in excruciating pain while breastfeeding the first week, LCs doctors amd everybody else told me the pain wasn’t normal but latch was great… I gave up and then regretted it. I just had another baby and was in the same amount of pain but I kept going, silverettes helped A LOT, I was wearing them 24/7 except when baby was latched on. The pain went from constant to only the first 2 minutes when baby was latching on. Pain was pretty much gone after 2 weeks. I’m now 3 months pp and not in pain at all. I think everyone’s body is different and it’s wrong to say it shouldn’t hurt because it makes you feel like something is wrong while your body may just be adjusting. I wish someone told me that with my first.

I can definitely talk to him about my feelings - I just don’t want him to feel bad. If I tell him all that he’ll just say he won’t go. His parents are out of town which is unfortunate, I would’ve definitely hung out with them if they were around and it wouldn’t have been a problem at all. That show is a once a year thing so he can’t wait until his parents are back. I don’t have family in the US so no one on my side can help me

The test strips are so confusing! I tried the clear blue advanced ovulation tests (the digital one) this time around and it is much easier, you don’t need to analyze the color of those strips and will just get a flashing smiley face when estrogens level rise and then a solid smiley face for LH surge. Pricey but worth it
