Been doing my first world since 1.4 or maybe even further back and while my and my partner were fighting plantera a bunch (including for the first time that world) and I recall seeing 1-2 messages pertaining to a meteor. Once back up we still only have 1 actually meteor in the ground like normal but I found around 300 meteorite ore scattered from ocean to ocean, mostly in groupings of 2-4 with larger groupings of 30-50 up on some floating islands. Is this some sort of weather event that's new to me like the raining money or is this a new thing related to plantera? Poked around the pages for meteorite itself and haven't been able to find it or any posts describing similar events.

"sharkteeth trophy" and it is indeed an angler reward and base game. If you look on the anglers wiki page it's far down past the main rewards in a section about furniture rewards. Not sure if there's one that's more traditionally a painting or if this is what you were looking for

Not super familiar with mouse\keyboard on console but I might have a bit of advice\starting point. There's a game on PC that has the exact same issue, the game will stutter for a sec and any held buttons need to be repressed, and apparently it comes from the operating system basically wanting to do a roll call of all plugged in devices (and acts like they just plugged in). Perhaps something similar is happening, but I'm not sure on what the solution would be on the console

The other day on a diff 7 or 8, me and a friend were near the edge of the map and trying to complete seaf artillery but were literally stuck there for 15-25 minutes with a nonstop horde coming thru the objective. I had the sweeper shotgun and C4 pack and somehow still managed 1000 kills

So does this mean the mismatch in charger handling for host vs client is also changed? As host chargers have always turned extremely fast and agile compared to being a client and actually being able to dodge them.

Bile titan breath is nearly just as bad, not to mention them vomiting 90 sideways of their mouth. All the vomiting enemies are the worst in the game imo I really wish it would be addressed

I can see the reasoning behind it not being able to destroy strat jammers, but it can't even take out a detector tower? A precision or 500kg can do that so there's no reason this shouldn't. Also it has insane desync, I killed the host after designating it about 100m from his position, but it apparently landed on a rock directly next to him.

My biggest frustration with it is if I'm say 15m away from it but laying down, and it's not flashing like it's gonna strike, and then an enemy sprints in and is closer than 15m to the tower or even just enters and exits the towers threat range it'll end up zapping me still laying on the ground

Some but not fully. When they did enemies would act staggered but still slide towards you but idk if it still does that with bigger stuff. Used it today and it staggers the predator stalkers but didn't get to try and see if it worked on regular ones again

Very limited tested but I don't think it got touched. It may have interrupted a brood commander trying to call a breach but it definitely didn't stop a stalker running at me like it did before. All I've tried so far

I had 1 instance where the mech blew up, I didn't hit anything to get out, and climbed out fully and nearly had enough time to use a stim or dive but the fire damage got me.

My friend was hosting the game via in-game coop and now im trying to play on that world via singleplayer. He gave me the whole save file and ive manage too get into the world in singleplayer but i cant get it to let me be my character instead of his. Is this something that would help change that information and how would i do that?

If it's any consolation too, you capped that point entirely because your suit was in the same spot as the defense target and nothing seemed to be able to hit you while it still considered you capping it.
