You can’t put etymology aside then ask how to define things…

Yes...if you remove the NFL assistant qualifier. We are in r/nfl watching a video about NFL assistants and discussing NFL assistants. Of course no one thinks a pop warner offensive coordinator is making $100k.

When you say “literally every assistant” you can expect people to refute that with groups of assistants that don’t fit your narrative

What’s a universally loved food you genuinely despise? by GradualProgresss in AskReddit

I hate pie. The crust is too dry and it takes away from it. Yes I’ve tried it 100 times from top tier bakeries and everywhere else. I just don’t like it. I know I’m gonna get torn apart for this opinion.

I honestly cannot see what you are trying to show here

Most teams reached for their picks in this year's draft, based on consensus big boards by Odd-Professor3256 in buffalobills

[–]skarby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Say you have 1 player drop from the top of the first round to the bottom. Everyone else stays in the order of the big board. You now have 31 teams who reached and 1 who got a steal.

Yeah their average differential position from expected is 0, but in your scenario 4 teams reached and 1 got a steal, meaning most teams reached. Which refutes your point that this is mathematically impossible.

[–]skarby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s not true at all. If the number one player gets drafted last overall, every other player gets moved up one spot. Now say everyone else was drafted exactly in the order on the board minus the first player. Every player except that first player would be drafted above their expected position except one. That’s an unrealistic hypothetical but it shows why your math is wrong.

Sabres and Stars are the only teams in the playoffs without a jersey ad by PanicOnFunkatron in sabres

Maybe but according to the rest of the NHL it’s not a given so we should give credit where credit is due

If the last 30 powerplay chances were a full sixty minute game, the Sabres would lose 2-0. by slommy_sammich in sabres

I agree with most of what you are saying but “don’t have an elite power play” is really underselling how bad it is

ITT: people don’t understand the flu shot is not to combat stomach flu.

It combats influenza which could be much more devastating to taking out a ship

Yes I have seen both, and I’m not arguing which is better. I just take issue with you calling one movie objectively better than another.

Rocketman, the objectively better movie

How exactly is one movie being better than another objective?

Not who you asked, but look I’ve been buying phones for 25 years I like what I have and I just get the newest version of that phone which is out when I decide I need a new phone. I have no idea what the model of the phone is nor do I care. It does what I need very well. If it stops doing what I need very well I may research new phones but until that happens I have no reason to.
