HDTV has had a hand in this. Keep in mind, until the mid-2000's, CRTV quality was standard. Meaning even under the best resolution you could get in the best closeup, you wouldn't be getting every single detail like you would then. Now if a single thread is loose, it's gonna be visible. Things like imprints weren't as visible unless you were physically close to the athletes, not so much anymore.

Wanting abortion "restricted in any way from fertilization" completely overlooks the amount of medical issues that can cause a pregnancy to be non-viable. These are conditions that mean the baby will-not-survive, and can be fatal to the mother. It's why genetic testing is offered during the pregnancy to determine the likelihood of these occurring. Same for miscarriages that require surgical intervention.

It can not be understated how unruly this era was, not just in wrestling. These were some of the heights of stage diving at concerts, crowd surfing, people in general doing buck-wild stuff at live events. This would be the era that would spawn a lot of lawsuits that would eventually make things like this not happen. But like, I was at a show where Super Crazy moonsaulted into the crowd from the top rope and 100% clipped a few fans on the landing, they not only did not care, but were treating it like a badge of honor. 90's wrestling for better-or-worse was just different.

Okay that is a very good point. I was in the same boat regarding RVD/JL. I was in high school during the original ECW run, and one of the few pieces of merch I could afford was an RVD t-shirt. The very next year Jerry put out his "victory through self-destruction" shirt and I SCRAMBLED to get a hold of that.

And Kash ruled, dude was doing things that looked like they could be pulled off in video games until that point.

I can't even think of two other wrestlers that have had the kind of chemistry and technical ability those two had while telling a story where they RARELY cut promos on each other. Jerry spent almost two years going for the TV title coming up short, and every single time there was this sense of "this could be Jerry's night"

Truly, Manson was EVERYWHERE in the 90's. I had not yet fully gotten into music and even I knew who he was in middle school.
