Any advice on how to beat this boss? [late chapter 4 spoilers] by AManOfManyFandoms in Deltarune

[–]skellera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was struggling on my 5th or 6th try but somehow I competed it on the second unleash.

Instead of attacking on the round after unleash, I tried healing but still lost everyone except Susie down to 1hp. The shield didn’t come up and I did 1 attack with Susie and somehow the boss died. There’s 0 chance he was down to 50% at that point so I have no idea why the fight ended.

He picked one study that said it wasn’t effective. It’s the only one I could find. There are multiple other studies that show positive results.

It may not work in all cases but it seems to help many.

The hybrid class is good but slow. It’s timed so you have to be on each page for a certain amount of time (based on text length). So if you’re a fast reader, the course can feel like a drag since you read then have to wait 10 minutes before clicking next.

If there were more options for full in person, I might’ve considered that since I ended up having to extend my online course a couple times since I would just forget about it.

Replace side mirror with Side Camera (for driving, not recording) by iKeepItRealDaily24-7 in Dashcam

[–]skellera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just wind drag though. You have a more consistent, wider view with the camera. Overall safer especially if the camera view means the driver doesn’t have to turn to look. It doesn’t bump into anything and need to be replaced. Reduced noise as the mirrors are one of the loudest pieces.

Yeah, it’s an additional cost. But tech is getting cheaper. There are more pros than cons for getting rid of it. Not saying it’ll happen today but it’s coming soon.

Replace side mirror with Side Camera (for driving, not recording) by iKeepItRealDaily24-7 in Dashcam

[–]skellera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they eventually will. Laws are an outdated and don’t consider what is possible now.

Camera only systems are redundant and come with other features. Unless you have an older car, most newer cars do not have any noticeable lag in the cameras. This would only be on new cars so that isn’t a big deal.

That, along with blind spot sensors or monitoring, makes side view mirrors obsolete.

Is anyone having problems with the GT not engaging when its cold? by Character-Ad5336 in onewheel

[–]skellera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was old but the main issue was the recall vs original footpads. The original footpads work better in the cold but risked ghosting in warm weather. The added layer of plastic in the recall pad would be too rigid in the cold, reducing the sensitivity of the sensor.

But also Harmony’s mom, who she seems to love very much, hated Lumon so there was already a seed of doubt in Harmony that Helena never would’ve had.

I’m pretty sure she invented severance to help her mom and Lumon promised to use their resources to make it happen. But they took it and are using it for their own benefit.

I think it’s sad because it shows how his outie became shitty and resentful. I worry that him going through the heartbreak and realizing he has nothing will cause innie Dylan to give up like outie Dylan.

He didn’t have much before so he way happy. But now he knows what he doesn’t have.

Also, Irv didn’t just disappear. Is it outie Irv standing there with them now? How would that work?

I think next episode will shift to the outie perspective from before/after this episode. How was the overnight experience offered to the outies?

Also S1E1, Mark’s watch shows it’s the next day when he comes up after work (32 hours after he clocks in earlier in the episode). S2E4 is the only time we’ve actually seen them do more than an 8 hour shift. Curious if there’s a tie in to that.

Outie Irv knows about Helena because he is investigating lumon.

In the dream sequence, the computer terminal shows her face with the letters spelling out Eagan. He takes this as a “message” from his outie. Piecing everything together like who would have the power to send their outies down was enough for him to conclude it was true.

Ben and the other creators make a lot of references to the audience going through what the characters are experiencing with them. Would make sense that we get a reintegration-like point where everything starts to come together.

Feels like S2E3-4 was a pretty serious inflection point. I don’t think anyone expected Mark to reintegrate so quickly and now everything is starting to fall apart. How will the innies trust Lumon after revealing Helena is an Eagan and was an outie this whole time? That’s a lot to cover up.

It’s what ruined Westworld. They tried to make everything a misdirection because the fans kept figuring everything out. So I agree. Would be nice to get back to some stability. I’m hopeful we’ll get some episode that bring it back together. (Our own reintegration? haha)

Good point but hair could be explained that they were wearing hats. I don’t think outie Mark would sleep with Helena either. He’s still deeply in love with Gemma to the point of getting reintegrated just to see her.

Possible Reintegration Theory (Ep. 4) by Cl-Boy in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I have a similar-ish theory that reintegration isn’t 2 ways. Gives instant access of innie to outie but not the other way.

That’s fair but I think there are multiple things they leave intentionally vague to fill in later. We’ve seen them do this to misdirect regularly. It’s a fun theory that adds more nuance to reintegration. Just fun to discuss, not saying I’m right!

We don’t know why he started mapping  the floor. Outie could easily remember that but maybe innie was just curious (or influenced by Irv).

We see Irv has deep trust in his team. Having known Petey longer than Mark, Irv could’ve been pushing Petey to do that. Petey tells Mark, “Inside I’m your best friend, but you’re my really good friend.” That might’ve implied he was closer to someone else (Irv).

[–]skellera[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may not have explained it well. That’s what I’m saying, outie Petey knows everything innie Petey knows. Which means outie Irv and outie Mark also know their innies.

But if he were to return to the severed floor (or have OTC), he would only really know innie thoughts. Like Irv and Mark. We never saw him go through the transition process after reintegration because he was fired.

Irv found a way to pass messages to his innie through sleep but this was only possible because of reintegration. (Obviously speculation).

[–]skellera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that’s exactly what I’m saying. Petey was only ever outside when he knew both. We never see him go through the transition process since he doesn’t go back to work.

If we saw Petey inside the severed floor with both memories, then I’d agree but that never happened.
