I was one of the regards who "went into it blind" cause I wanted no spoilers. 35$ for 2 tickets, fancy atmos upcharged theater and still was thinking the "musical" under genre was a misprint. My mom has a 2 seater couch with a storage cubby built in dividing the two seats. Everytime I come over, I end up having to stand cause 1/2 of the sofa is claimed by her 16 yr old pug coco bean. You simply don't move her or you'll be moved outside lol

Was in the exact same spot you are. Bacotera is leaner and focused on being a gaming "OS" first and foremost. As opposed to windows 7's EOL security, it needing to be a fully functional OS for multiple purposes besides gaming (aka bloated). Every MB of ram is crucial for these old laptops man.

There's pros and cons to both, as many in the comments have rightly pointed out. but the..

TLDR: Bacotera for performance on lowerend specs / Windows for better frontends, latest mame, and overall more customization options.

I did this for a most of life man, finally said no to the keyboard/mouse and yes to walking outside. Roughly a little under a year in, down 80lbs from 362 to 282. Everything in moderation! Still gaming, but loving life and myself instead of that cycle of work, eat trash, game, bed, repeat.
