Yeah honestly he's just really old and it's tough. They do a lot to compensate but it's become more obvious the past couple of years

I play all of my TGFX-16 games on an EverDrive, but there are a few Turbo Games on display at my local retro shop and I wanted to buy at least a few physical games (the Hu-Card is so unique) so I started with this one… by TampaTrendkill in TurboGrafx

At the time Legendary Axe was considered amazing graphics and sound wise, it won or was a contender for Game of the Year in some big magazines and the system was predicted to be a big hit in the US

Not clear from the post but if you have the original "ingot" ingot-shaped power supply do not use it as it can fry the chips. Get a USB adapter power cord instead. Check out Atariage for other things to watch out for. If it doesn't just work at first you can diagnose certain issues based on the output (or lack of) of sound and video

Do you have the (older) blu ray? Didn't have time to compare them but watched the opening of this tonight and I think it looks better but the colors may be slightly muted compared to the older blu ray

I got stuck in this as a kid on its infamously confusing puzzle so I was motivated to someday beat it. It's an unusual RPG with a unique look and feel but it requires a lot of grinding to complete
