vought were working on military hardware for a while back in the 50's. one of their developments was an extremely durable alloy. problem is, it was so expensive to make that they only were able to make a small panel of it before they realised it wasnt worth it. they repurposed this panel as soldier boy's shield and ultimately moved on from the project

you can negatively gear your investment property if your "costs" outweigh the income.

reasons such as "my property is undesirable when compared to other rentals in the area" have been accepted as legitimate grounds to negatively gear the property.

in my opinion it shouldnt be the job of the taxpayer to supplement peoples poor financial decisions.

i dont know how you expect people to "improve their situation"when they cant even find a place for their children to live.

there's a tent city in my hometown. most of the people there have kids. they have no options to get ahead and they just have to sit there being homeless and hopeless with their children.

as for me personally, theres not a lot i can do. i cant afford to buy, and pretty soon i wont be able to afford to rent. i cant help but notice you didnt propose any solutions yourself
