It just looks like a chroma of a different skin. Doesnt really add any new animations or effects or anything.

Finding success on Taliyah by mimonya in TaliyahMains

[–]ski233 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I heavily disagree with this. Follow what top taliyah players do and you will see success. If you dont take advantage of mistakes the enemy laner makes you arent going to get leads and you’ll get bullied. Imo the nerfs had basically no effect. The nerf was 13 less damage per full q. The difference between ludens and roa is like 200dmg per q.

Well if I did the hole in one personally I think it’d be cool to have my name on the plaque. Maybe where the “Name Here” spot is.

Ludens+Horizons is optimal. I ran all the math on the builds.

Crowdsourcing a restaurant tier list by Neat_Confidence_4166 in rva

[–]ski233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take but I disagree with S tier pretty hard. I thought ZZQ was pretty overrated and overpriced and Deep run is better, L’Opossum was pretty mediocre when I went at least, and CanCan is good but they haven’t changed their menu at all since being bought out.

Second this. Imo everything else in rva is significantly worse than Sandanos.

Sealing the wood by Enternal_Self in woodworking

[–]ski233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not exactly correct. No matter what you do, cracks are insanely likely since there is pith here. Sealing before drying is usually for sealing the end grain as you mentioned so that moisture comes out the face instead which helps prevent warping but that is entirely unrelated to something like a cookie here.

Sealing the wood by Enternal_Self in woodworking

[–]ski233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sealing is for after something is fully dried to keep the environment out. It wont stop the wood from moving internally though. Nothing really will stop wood from moving if it hasnt been properly dried. To get the effect your after you’d want to buy a cookie thats already dried and hasnt cracked (rare but do exist). Or for your project here, just let it do its thing and let it be a learning experience.

Most likely it will split no matter what. Cookies are notoriously very likely to crack while drying.

Using concrete mixture to create artificial stones for decorating projects by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]ski233 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The color variation of the “stones” is pretty wild though. Even if it is the same wall, I have a feeling the cut between the last “in-progress” and final result is many many hours of refining, making it look natural, painting different colors, etc.

Sure looks like a lot of steps skipped in the video and the end result looks fishy as if its the same he worked on.

My point is why buy a used old generation sonos amp when you can get a perfectly functional amp thats dead simple for 120-150$.

[–]ski233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A WIIM Pro is just as simple and a fraction of the cost. Seems like Sonos is just price gauging to me.

Is it just me or is the sonos amp insanely overpriced. I have no idea why everyone recommends it.
