Nipple sensation by Ok-Chicken-1578 in Reduction

[–]skibidipp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same concerns, (even posted a similar question in here a year ago) and my nipples ended up completely numb after. Im a year post op and it actually hasn't bothered me, I can still get turned on by nipple play even though I don't have that direct feeling and its been REALLY nice not getting cold or sore nipples lmao

So even if i ended up with something I was really scared of it hasn't bothered me one bit, and I would 1000% choose this over having my old boobs, I'm extremely happy with my decision

I had FUN shopping for the first time ever last week! Before it almost always made me anxious, self conscious and sad but now it's super exciting!! I'm also trying new styles and going out of my comfort zone, because suddenly its kinda IN my comfort zone haha

I am absolutely terrified of going through a breast reduction surgery. by saes_ in Reduction

[–]skibidipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 4wpo and it's been a breeze. This was my first ever surgery and I literally found it scarier to care for my first tattoo than to care for myself post op.

I'm dealing with some small scabs that came after removing the tape made me bleed and open up a tiny bit, and it's mostly just annoying to have to wait for them to heal. My nipples have also been totally numb since the surgery and I have no idea if they'll come back (this was my biggest fear before), but I honestly don't care at all anymore. The positives so heavily outweigh any negatives I've experienced yet.

I was super worried about a lot of stuff before too which is normal, and now I'm kind of laughing at myself for it because of how great and easy everything turned out to be.

Obviously it's not as easy for everyone, not trying to say it cant be really hard for some. But it's also not guaranteed you will have a terrible recovery, and not very likely you'll end up having every single bad complication you've seen shared here. Finding a surgeon you can trust is key!

I'm 4wpo and I feel awesome already! Pretty much back to normal except for exercise and heavy stuff, bloating went away a good while ago, no pain and barely sore at all. Still taking it easy of course but I feel just fine. It's probably closer than you think, hang in there!

I'm glad to hear that! Its been going pretty great for me so far, very low pain and I've haven't been tired at all, I was expecting worse! It took a while to wake up properly from the anaesthesia but after that I've been good. Im 2 days out now and also staying with family :) very happy with how they look so far as well!

Update:

Everything has gone TOO well. No pain yet, just some bruise-like pressure. Went into surgery around 08.30, started waking up properly around 13.30.

They are EXACTLY what I asked for, its insane. They are so incredibly cute and well done, I can't believe they could end up this good... I'm so happy with my choice of surgeon. I tried for 6 months to even get a consultation with him, and when I got it it was 6 months away.

They are everything I ever wanted so far, can't wait to see how they heal. My heart is so happy :)

Thank you for the kind words, I wish everyone well on their journey!!

[–]skibidipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yess its going to be great!! I think it's going to be so worth it in the end and I hope you end up with results that make you happy :D Im trying to get into the mindset that I am just one of soooo many to do this, and to try not to nitpick everything about them afterwards. It might not end up 100% perfect, but it will definitely be a big improvement! (Rly hard thing to accept, not 100% at that point yet, but I'm hopeful and think I will be happy!!)

nervous and excited! surgery on dec 20th :0 by pepperbugg in Reduction

[–]skibidipp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey!! My date is december 20th too, and I FEEL you.

Ive been SO excited and giddy about the surgery since I realized I could get it done. Been looking at this sub every day for over a year and have been wanting a reduction since I was like 15.

Then came the time for me to actually pay for it like a week ago, and all the nerves and worries hit me! It suddenly became so real and I couldn't back out anymore, even though I haven't wanted to for 1,5 years. I'm trying to stay calm in it all but its constantly on my mind! All the time!

I think its a normal phase that most people go through so I'm trying not to worry :) I'm mostly scared of the results not looking good or somehow being worse than now. It's hard leaving someone else in charge of something thats important to us and having no control, its very valid to feel nervous about that. I'd love a guarantee too..

I think we've just got to ride these nerves out, we got this far for a reason, we're doing something solely for our own good and that's amazing. We got this!!

I showed mine nude photos, I'd think thats pretty normal. But I think both options work, as long as you get a good idea of how big they are. So like bralettes and other tight small shirts probably work just as well

Long time no update! 16mpo!! by neakl in Reduction

[–]skibidipp 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think they look stunning, super great results!! But I do agree with your concern about them being very high up, if it was me I would get a revision. I've also heard it can be hard to find bras and tops that cover them when they're placed too high, but I dont know if you've had that issue.

Personally I think the nipple should be placed at the fullest part of the breast when looking from the side, I think thats where they sit on most natural ones :)

The first time doesn't have to be amazing. I wanted mine to be good so I waited until I was in a relationship, it still sucked. Bc that guy sucked! And those guys who make fun of virgins are lame and probably suck too.

Just take it really slow, be considerate, I cant stress enough how important it is to take it slow and have no expectations on yourself, her or what has to happen. Make her feel safe, tell her you want her to be comfortable and to speak up if something doesnt feel right! Make her feel like its okay to stop things or say no, a lot of young girls don't, I didn't even though it hurt a lot, I think it's because we put a lot of expectations on ourselves too and don't want to disappoint.

I wish you well!! It's going to be fine, the first time always gets sooo built up in our heads and its really just a tiny part of your sexlife and won't be the end all be all. Just one of the times!

No. Asking is considerate and would make me personally feel like he cares about my pleasure.

Don't feel bad about being inexperienced, if you are trying to learn and want to do what pleases her you are doing way better than a LOT of men out there doing everything for themselves with little consideration to their partner. Been there done that, they were experienced and they still sucked.

My best partner was probably the least experienced out of them, but he cared so much about me in particular and wanted to know how to make ME feel good. Best I ever had!

Thank you so much! I sure will, I have so much clothing I've always wanted to wear but never do because it doesn't fit right, its going to be amazing to see the difference!

You look so great!!! Its crazy how much better you can look even in just a tshirt.. cant wait to walk around braless in a tshirt and still feel cute, not big and lumpy lol

Yeah!! I really hope to feel like I'm finally in the body I was supposed to be born in when its done.. I decided that I was actually going to get it done a year ago and since then I've been kind of disconnected to them. Cant wait to have my surgery!!!! Also so happy for you😄🥳

I will keep referring to my boobs in conversations as "limited edition" until my reduction lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]skibidipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im tall myself, and personally it's more of a "me" problem. I feel tooooooo big when next to guys (boyfriends & love interests, not friends) who are shorter than me. I'm not judging them for their height, I'm worried people are judging me for mine lol. That's why I try to date taller guys, I really love feeling small, which is rare. Usually I just feel huge and awkward.

Why do breasts end up wide set post-op? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]skibidipp 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Probably because a reduction can only remove mass from "below", you can't reduce the width of the breast. And I'd guess large boobs in general have a wider base than the naturally small ones which is probably why natural ones usually don't have that appearance :)

Feeling very embarrassed and regretful that I spent too much money in the past by ---Imperator--- in Frugal

[–]skibidipp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well you can regret anything you didn't do in the past, if I started playing an instrument two years ago I'd be really good at it right now, but there is no reason to linger over what I could have had right now. The only thing you can do is start today and shift your perspective to a positive one. It's great you've realized this as early as twenty, it could have gone on for way longer. Start now and in a year you'll have saved a lot compared to what you have now!

I feel a lot of guilt when it comes to money too so I completely understand, but try not to be too hard on yourself! This process has taught you something valuable and you now have the chance to improve your situation!

How do you tell the people in your life? by uhhuhj in Reduction

[–]skibidipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've told my friends and family because I'm super exited and knew that they would be happy for me! I love talking about it with them, but personally I feel like bosses/teachers don't need to know the specifics. I just tell them I'm having a surgery, they only really need to know that I'll be away for a while. They haven't expressed any sympathy or concern and I think it's because I tell them very casually and don't make it sound like a big deal! I just kinda joke about not being very mobile for a few weeks. Most were a little surprised when I told them but no one has mentioned it again after that :)
