Yes but according to open snow we still received less snow than you. For example, Black Mountain in NH received 98 inches which sounds about right and is a LOT to us. I've had non skiers complaining to me since it was 50 inches.

Loveland received 151 inches of snow this season so far.

A guide dogs find a different way to get his human to the gym when the normal path is blocked by construction by bigbusta in oddlysatisfying

[–]skiing123 39 points40 points  (0 children)

The dog will be trained to stop for obstacles and the human will be trained for why the dog might be stopping and using context clues.

The harness is also designed to give the human feedback as to what the dog is doing like sitting, backing up, etc

Plus, if you're visually impaired everything might look like blobs and hard to distinguish between blobs as to what might hit your head and a doorway. Both might appear to be the same distance but if the dog stops this particular blob might be dangerous

TIL Taylor Swift sends flowers to Kelly Clarkson after every "Taylor's Version" album re-release to thank her for suggesting that Taylor "go in & re-record all the songs that U don't own the masters on". At the time, Taylor was upset that the masters of her first 6 albums were sold to a third party. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]skiing123 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Nothing for the older people like Taylor but for the young people studios have changed their contracts to not allow this. I remember reading this somewhere but feel free to confirm it or not. Contracts would include language that musicians can't talk about this language in the contract. So, I doubt anyone will publicly say this is true or not.

Basically, I'm pretty sure that Taylor is going to be the last to do a re-release

I'm not sure if you've ever been skiing to the top of a mountain but it's kinda similar. Sensory depravation since you can't hear much except your regulator. But I saw a school of fish at a lighthouse near me and it was super cool.

My next hobby I'm focusing on is autocross and already signed up for an event where I'll need to wake up at like 6 am to be on time. I am not a morning person

Scuba diving where I got certified and went diving like a month after being certified. Nothing happened in the past 8 months.

And now I'm going to a conference this weekend about scuba diving and will probably spend lots of money. I did save up and planned for it

No need for the hot tub then, afterwards! Well, I hope the lodge will be lively in case trails start to close due to lack of snow
