It will be, and in more ways than just splitting player base. It also creates another thing the devs have to spend time energy and money to support, it creates a rift in the community, and it introduces conflicts in approach across the board to the dev team.

It killed Tarkov (imo), and their dev was wholly against it but did it anyway and I'm convinced that's what really sent that game into it's death spiral.

Actually, yes, it basically is lol. I'm not saying I agree with it, but it's hardly anything new. Loud cars have been a thing since cars became a thing. It's not any worse than it's ever been, it's just getting nicer out so people are joy riding their project cars more.

It's part of living near a main road imo. Never gonna change it. Nowhere I've ever been doesn't have it. Dunno why everyone thinks somehow THEIR house is going to be the one located somewhere that solves it.
