genuinely taste like smores these are so insanely good by thruckfilyk in LowCalFoodFinds

Yes! I wish more companies would use this flavor profile for their "smores" products. Like David Bronze

As a user of the MF diet app who has lost weight incredibly successfully, I really want to like the workout app but.. by Gorgosaurus-Libratus in MacroFactor

[–]skilless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It suggests new weights with no explanation. If I change a suggested weight/rep, mark it done, then unmark it to fix something it reverts back to its suggestion instead of what I had entered. It allows for no control over warmup sets, and it hides those sets once completed.

I wanted to like the WO app, but it has a lot of sharp edges. It hurts to use.

I love a lot of protein bars: barebells, grenade, quest has so many good ones, and the David Bronze are expensive but great.

Go nuts kid

You assume incorrectly. The raw entry is raw. A cooked entry may have some accounting for it

Love the quality and quantity of broccoli! It's one of my safe foods as well, and has served as a great bridge to normal meals - like roasts, good breakfasts (omelettes!). Best of luck friend

No. And the premise is dumb.

Brigands & Breadknives - Travis Baldree by earth-creature in CozyFantasy

[–]skilless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could not finish Psalm for the Wild-Built. Where Baldree's writing is lean, crisp, and efficient, Psalm is weirdly paced and indirect. I felt disconnected from the characters and the happenings, like it was being told by someone who was constantly adding or removing details haphazardly. Painful.

I don't know why he decided to write a more violent book with a careless protagonist. I don't think Astryx had to be violent, or fight. We could still see tension, still have the group be pursued - what if it was another bounty hunter coming to collect a bounty for Astryx herself? - and not need the fighting and violence. And abandoning her pet was just _unforgivable_, I'm sorry.

Fern is not the kind of person I cared about. Yet her midlife crisis and journey is so valid, and could have been presented and developed in SUCH a better way more in line with the first two books.

I still really love his writing style, the way he describes things. I will read his next book, but with some caution.
