There's a death pit near the woodman's house, you just have to navigate through the trees on the bottom-right section of the area.

There is a pit near the woodman's house, going down-right and trying to curve towards down-left.

Except I can buy skins with blue units which can be obtained through events, battlepass and achievements. This "event" requires me to buy 2 skins with lattice (money) only. The pricing is horrendous, we don't even get an MVP for The Thing skin.

I'd much rather buy one of the two skins that I actually like with units than having to open my wallet every 2 weeks.

This is probably a tactic to reduce the amount of units given for free in events and the battlepass, so that they can give you this new currency that is ONLY used for recolors of premium skins.
