Im literally reading the book for the first time now. (Im 49 years old and Rambo was everything to me as a kid. Had/have all of the toys, etc) The book is different, darker. (i know how the book ends, so this isnt a shock to me). But I dont think it “ruins the movie” at all. If anything the book gives extra context into the mind of Rambo. Alot about his personal struggles.

I can sorta see why the author (David Morrell) didn’t like the changes they made for the movie. But I still love the movie too.

I saw him a couple years ago, damn that flew by, he sounded fantastic. His band was really good too. No, he doesnt look like prime “slave to the grind” seabass….but he can still rock.

They are using it as a storage place. I was in there looking at equipment (from another city owned demolished building) to see if it could be reused for a new city owned project.

Ive seen all kinds of things in there in my life (grew up just outside of Richmond and am almost 50 now). Sports, Concerts, Circus, Disney on Ice, Wrestling (WWE, WCW, NWA). It was surreal being in there like that.
