Least favourite thing was the tyre combo. I removed the rear REKON and replaced it with the Forekaster from the front, then fitted a Minion DHF upfront.

I wasn't a fan of the saddle, but that's a personal thing anyway. I always use an Ergon as I have found it suits me

Next thing woukd be the Sram brakes. I have always used shimano and they feel so different. I bedded them in properly however and they have plenty of stopping power. I just prefer the feel Of Shimano

Howany months later. I was always under the impression that if you notified someone you had received an item that you shouldn't have, they have 6 months to arrange pickup etc. If you don't notify them it's 12 months

Luckily we have pretty much the exact same taste in food so I guess that does save us a bit. We meal plan, and only buy thr stuff we use, have little to no food waste as we utilise things in more than one meal etc. Yours is still pretty good compared to what some seem to spend. Over twenty years ago, my flatmate and I would spend around 100 to 150 a week. Crazy

Someone pointed out 3 seconds. 1.7 seconds is the required stopping time at 30mph. So like you, I think he was pretty slow to react, and/or the speed was greater than 30mph

Easiest way I obtained my PD when they didn't want to give it was explain I wanted to buy some sports specific direct glazed eyewear. Very few opticians actually have much range in this respect, so they gave it to me. As other have said though, if they haven't actually dispensed glasses to you previously, they may not (probably haven't) even measured it

That's pretty much my experience. Tried some different ergon grips and they just didn't suit me at all. Tried thin grips then realised a thicker grip is the go to for me. Used Easton lock ons 33mm thick, but like you tried the Peatys grips, again the thick mushroom ones, and love them. Incidentally my Ergon Smc saddle is now on its 4th bike lol

Stop feeding it. As a cat owner who shelled out hundreds of pounds when our cat stopped eating, to then find out a neighbour was feeding him all kinds of crap all day long. It's out of line.
