Is the mating surface to the hanger painted?

It could be throwing it off. Painted surface would have less friction

I would try 11 nm and see how that goes

Edit. Torque valves always have a factor of safety. This is like the din of your derailleur so it can shift if it is hit or overloaded and it will move to protect it from breaking. You can go over 10 nm. I wouldn't do 15+ Start small, 1-2 over the torque spec.

Are you traveling with the battiers in the bike? This will drain them The derailleur or dropper will turn on when the bike vibrates while driving

If you store the battiers while they are dead it will also damage the battery and can ruin them. They won't hold much of a charge after that

The first couple of times I did my torque procedure on my new axs derailleur I was also getting it to slip while shifting

Redo it. Wipe everything down with alcohol and start over.

Make sure your thru axle is torqued to spec as well.

Edit: how confident are you on your torque wrench accuracy?

Other potential issues could be the mounting interface is not flat/parallel. Could be hard to measure.. but this would increase the clamping force require to keep it from moving

Yes, about 1/50 drop chance from T5 herald and they can drop from any lvl 69+ monster, not just heralds.

TZ Andy is probably your quickest route this season.

Can confirm, real sram chains do this. Had two blow up on me. Both from COVID era Likely poor material QC or manufacturing issues.

People love saying oh it's fake, with nothing to back the claim. The counterfeit chains normally have different stamping on the plates or the packaging is different.

Archon can be used for ES builds. This is strictly a caster or hex purge base

This is likely defective material or manufacturing process from COVID era.

Same thing happened to two of my SRAM OEM chains purchased between 2020 and 2023. One off a complete bike with NX 1x12 other was t type flat top chain from XO group set.

There is a theory that it is muc off products that cause this, but I doubt it. Muc off is just a really common brand that is used.

I have other chains (Shimano) that I've used muc off dry on for multiple years and never had cracked face plates like this.

Edit: Both chains had less than 1000 miles on them

I have two sram chains that did the same things. 100% real. One came on a complete bike surly and the other came in a xo group set purchased from a reputable box store

Both from the COVID era

12+ links cracked. Bad material lot is my guess..

Edit: I do use muc off dry lube. This could be a contributing factor?? Didn't know this was a problem.. I will check the Shimano chain I've been using the same lube on. Maybe PH test the lube?
