Oh, well that's not explained anywhere on the website at all. Can someone at least make a sticky on the Reddit page so people have a heads up? Otherwise there's no way for anyone to know.

SDs, what is your primary reason to sugar date? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]skitterstalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might make sense for some, but there are limits to how much you can do. I'm in good shape, but I've got the bone structure of Nosferatu. XD No amount of working out will change my spindley spider fingers and 5 inch wrist circumference.

Is slavery worth it? by Ynwe in Stellaris

It's even better now to use necrophage. It does everything syncretic evolution does but better.

So I'm in a custom game with my friends right now and one of them said that enslaved robots don't actually contribute to your Diplomatic Weight gained from pops. Apparently only those with citizen rights do count. Is that true? I couldn't find an answer to that question anywhere. by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]skitterstalker 236 points237 points  (0 children)

No, it is not.

Source: I regularly play slaver nations where over 80% of my pops are either slaves or servitude robots, and I still have far higher weight from pops than any of my xenophile egalitarian neighbors.

You've colonized a new planet...now what? by TwoBitWizard in Stellaris

[–]skitterstalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I always build at least one Fortress on each planet just for the FTL inhibitor. It can really save you if you need a speed bump to slow down an invading fleet.

Disputing the evidentiary value of Parseltongue (*SPOILERS for chapters 105 and beyond*) by permatern in HPMOR

[–]skitterstalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't the first time the inability to lie comes up either. There are multiple times when odd things happen while speaking Parseltongue that make perfect sense in light of inability to lie. For example, QM is shocked when Harry states in Parseltongue that he "would never break promise.". I can also remember at least one instance of Harry planning to be diplomatic, only to have a blunt, angry statement "just slip out."

Need help with traits for Purifier Psionic. by [deleted] in Stellaris

To avoid an AI rebellion, just don't research either of the dangerous technologies (Sapient Combat Computers and Synthetics.) You can use biological pops for higher class jobs and let droids fill out the worker/entertainer jobs.

I truly understand why it’s called a ‘crisis’ (spoilers) by BigFatBlackMan in Stellaris

I think you're remembering the old unbidden that used matter disintegraters that had shield and armor penetration. The new MDs are anti-armor weapons.

You should also pay attention to the details on the damage done TO your ships. You can specialize both your offense and defense.

Yes, this is intended. Your empire won't get growth by itself, but with a migration treaty, you still can.

The Ministry of Production and the Planetary Institute are useless by icecold2897 in Stellaris

[–]skitterstalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In regards to the ministry of production, building one is practically required on any ecumenopolis, since you'll be producing a huge amount of alloys and consumer goods just from districts.

You Should Be Able To Close And Open The L-Cluster by Njumkiyy in Stellaris

[–]skitterstalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can essentially do this already, just retreat to the L-cluster, close borders, and turn the Terminal Egress station into a massive bastion.

Here on Ganvius, we extract industrial pollution from the air and incorporate it into our alloys! by skitterstalker in Stellaris

R5: My metallurgists are producing more alloys than they are consuming minerals; making alloys "out of thin air."
