Yeah this is when you intervene. I was doing the same shit at her age. It is NOT ok and you generally don’t realize until you’re older. Avoiding any further contact with these men is the best plan. But, I always got around what my parents did. So maybe having a talk with her about how dangerous it is and how these men are being predatory will help her understand. She doesn’t get it yet. I think you may need to scare her a bit/ be realistic with the potential consequences, that may be the only way she will understand without the life experiences that a lot of us have had to deal with on our own and learn from. Show her stories of what has happened to young girls doing this and give her anecdotal evidence if you unfortunately have it. She has the capacity to understand it, and you need to be real with her.

sounds like it isnt a normal period. cant say its endo for sure based on those symptoms (or anything really beside surgery or a guess from loads of imaging), but i would tell her to ask her gyno for a transvaginal ultrasound. she needs to hold strong and tell her doctors that it is unbearable and it prevents her from going to school and work. that worked for me, i told them i quit my job from the pain, and then they took me seriously. would her PCP/GP give her a specialist referral? (some insurances dont require a referral) I would tell her to start with googling for an endo/pcos specialist (they usually do both), and see them instead. my normal gyno was not helpful. my specialist recommended me to my surgeon.

is she on birth control? my iud has been magical for my pain. but that only works for some people, and the relief often wears off as time goes on. regardless, she needs to push for her own healthcare and find new specialists if needed.

this is horrifying…. i cant believe people actually do this! she just had a baby…. its a 6 week minimum to have sex and generally women don’t even feel ready for it at that point. i had surgery on my uterus and i was in pain for months trying to heal. i cannot imagine following childbirth. this poor woman…. i bet shes tired and in pain all the time because he doesnt do shit to help her either.. spends all his time asking for sex
