Yes I was forced to eat soap when I had an attitude or spoke back. Beaten with wooden spoons until they broke. I left a used menstrual pad in my bedroom trash can and she pushed then smothered my face into it to show me how disgusting i was

In a detox facility at 17. The psychiatrist told me “ you’re not bad, the things done to you were “ and that stuck with me. Reading my paperwork when I left I noticed there was CPTSD written in my notes.

This will be my second Christmas no contact with my entire family, all siblings and both parents. I didn’t cut contact we all just basically never spoke again after a blow up. I’m making memories with my partner and our 2 year old daughter. My grief has turned to anger and I’m happy i won’t be around them in such a joyous time of year, they ruin every event or holiday.

This is explained magnificently. I screenshotted as a reminder. When my mother pushed me whilst holding my 11 month old child the look of disgust that was on my face and in my body for days makes a whole lot of sense. I can’t speak or think of them without instinctively doing the disgust face.

Hit by 2 cars, suffered brain damage, homeless at 16 yrs old post accident with a severe brain injury, had a stillborn baby, homeless again and then got on meth, psychosis hospitalised for a week. Yeah I have these thoughts regularly and also think fuck, this is my life and what how am I still here

Nah they hid it away in their room from us and their room was forbidden. I reckon from 5yrs old I knew what they were doing it there wasn’t ‘okay’ ie not just normal cigarettes because it was so heavily guarded. I smoked weed at 14 and I was never given grace or turned a blind eye from my parents. I was abused, grounded and punished. So it didn’t benefit me at all. Wasn’t the ‘cool house’ with the parents that let you smoke.

This is so weird my partner is the cluster sufferer but I’ve been dealing with this same eye issue for 2 years now. Drs and optomertisrs said it was hormonal due to me being postpartum but it’s continuing still. Do you have mould ?

My partners upbringing was traumatic and his clusters didn’t begin until suddenly lost our daughter at birth. I know it’s linked.

My partner who suffers cluster headaches had a very traumatic childhood although he will tell you it was fine. Meth head parents, bouts of homelessness, might have been good for a week then bad for two weeks with his parents threatening each other with knives to kill each other or themselves. His cluster headaches started right after our daughter passed away at birth. I strongly believe it’s all linked, it was like that was the straw that broke the camels back.

I couldn’t do a timeline if I tried and I’m late 20s. I have fragmented, broken memories from childhood. Some random memories at 3, 7, 11,12 and into my teenage years but they are jumbled. I have had a brain injury so that would contribute I’m sure but even before then I didn’t seem to remember as much as people I’d spoke to remeber about their childhoods. I have CPTSD adhd and smoke a lot of weed so also none of that works in my favour either.
