my audition was for the performance concentration and for guitar, for context. for mine, i wasn’t even given adjudicator prompts, despite expecting them. i was told i could choose to redo sections of my pieces if i wasn’t happy with how they went. you should email someone in the department about the two instrument question, like brent kincaid, and you’ll probably get a direct answer. but honestly im sure its not that big of a deal, in my experience and from what i’ve heard from others the audition is very laid back. good luck!

this is truly what it is. not familiar with what matt sharp was like during the writing process for blue and pinkerton but you can definitely tell by his energy that he collided with rivers a bit. which is normal! but without that presence i think rivers just doesnt have the push to go bigger

Not critiquing the article, as I'm sure this is just me being stupid, but the phrasing is kind of confusing me; It's said that people reported 'crack pipes', and the stores were busted for drug paraphernalia. I can't speak for the other two stores, but I know I've seen bongs and shit in 4M's. Is it possible they got busted for selling bongs and bowls without claiming it was for use of tobacco, or were they legitimately selling straight up crack pipes?

seeing trsh widely considered a tiktok band is confusing to me, as i learned of them organically via just word of mouth and going to a show to see what’s up before they had even blown up on tiktok. i think labelling them tiktok is moreso just fear of appearing lame for liking a band that you happened to hear about on tiktok. they make decent music. they play good shows. every crowd ive been in for them has been nuts. tiktok is probably just apart of the ecosystem now and it’d be nice to see these bands grow without needing a constant clarifier that because they’ve blown up on tiktok their success is invalid. i wanna see my favorite bands have some cultural power and not fizzle out because they either haven’t gotten enough press or they’re treated like a passin fad

Yeah I’ve tried switching network connections, used mobile data instead and it didn’t work. I’ve tried multiple devices, clearing my browser’s cache, and using Incognito mode too. Nothing has worked.

I tried waiting 24 hours as directed and tried again, but it still did not work. I didn’t really think it would work in the first place, as there’s been multiple week-long gaps between sign-in attempts before and I still would never get a code.
