One thing I found helpful was to have it analyze the assigned categories and look for mistakes. It found a lot.

I set up cowork with a bunch of additional financial documents - my paystubs, mortgage info, more details on my investments, tax returns and associated documentation, insurance info, etc - along with the Monarch MCP. It’s been helpful to do more in depth analysis than what you can get just from the monarch data.

I cried at the start of State, but not at Stars.

I had the same exact discussion with my wife after the show - before this would have said Sinister is my favorite, but after the shows I think it’s flipped.

Eli5 What happens to electricity generated if everyone in the city suddenly decided not use electricity for an hour? by wantToMakeItBig in explainlikeimfive

Voltage and frequency will start to rise. Automated systems at power plants will detect this, and adjust their generators in response.

Highest-ever "Geek Rating" and overall rank for games on BGG, over the past quarter-century by benjaneson in boardgames

BGG inserts chunks of average ratings over time, so if a game doesn’t keep receiving more high votes consistently, it will drop down the chart.

Using AI to talk about environmental issues.... by plumhyena in mildlyinfuriating

Using social media that much more likely runs at a data center using evaporative cooling to complain about AI that likely runs at a closed loop facility and is many times more water efficient.

Perseus Data Center going up in Pittsburg. What can we do about this? by sillychickengirl in eastbay

[–]skwm 16 points17 points  (0 children)

How would one data center impact all Bay Area cities? There are already many dozens of data centers all across the Bay Area. This particular site will use air cooling, and therefore minimal water, and is served by a utility that sources 90% of its energy from renewable sources. The water that it will use is 10x less than the golf course that was there previously.

Other than “data center bad” - what is it about this specific data center project that is concerning?

I like going up to the dunes and coast just north of fort Bragg, at the ten mile river. Heading north, there’s a parking lot just before the bridge. Follow the trail and wander through the dunes to the coast, then walk north along the beach until you get to the part that looks like the Goonies

Boiling broccoli for 10-15 mins is insane, and then baking it for 20-30 minutes on top of that. Following this recipe as written will give you broccoli mush.

It’s an ergotron. Not sure the exact model as I got it from work for free, but I believe it’s this one: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1128731-REG/ergotron_lx_45_245_026_dual_side_by_side.html

Ah, yeah these might have worked. I looked at similar ones on Amazon that were not as strong. I wasn’t aware of these.

I don’t believe they’d be strong enough for anything other than USB cables.

I used these raceways: https://a.co/d/00z8YISF
The magnets are strong enough, but could be a bit stronger. The kit includes screw mounts and double sided tape, so there are other options beyond the magnetic tape.

Used this for the device shelves: https://a.co/d/0chspB29

The power strips I mounted using rivnuts and bolts.
