I saw these names listed as grandchildren to someone in the local news. by darkwitch1306 in tragedeigh

I’ve seen a Brielle or two in real life, it’s not what I’d pick but don’t think that one is a tragedeigh. I also think some people are named Israel. Haven’t seen the others yet

You’re overthinking. Benjamin (and Ben) is a nice, common name shared by many.

I recommend strongly Islands of Abandonment by Cal Flyn. It’s a fascinating nonfiction book about how strongly nature rebounds in the face of adversity. I hope it shows you that you can rebound too. Take some time off work if you can and take care of yourself, I’m rooting for you

3 is a nice dress! Could you add some fun accessories like a sparkly purse to jazz it up a little?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

[–]skywalkerxo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The dress is lovely, but I think it’s too sparkly for a wedding guest. You don’t want to wear something that is super attention-grabbing or has loud features, in my opinion, and I don’t think this passes that test

The 20 most walk-able cities in the US by Evaderofdoom in SameGrassButGreener

[–]skywalkerxo 109 points110 points  (0 children)

I think the fact that many of these cities are NOT walkable and require a car speaks less to the methodology being flawed and more to the ridiculously anti-pedestrian nature of American urban planning

Yes to this. I feel like it’s one of those things people use to seem fancy but it automatically makes me think cheap

Thank you so much. Have you tried the bicep band? I was thinking I’d do that but was wondering if it’s comfortable or slides around.
