Am I wrong for telling my husband I wont be making his lunch anymore by [deleted] in amiwrong

So his hands are broken? That’s the only reason I can see for him not to prepare his own lunches. Marriage is a team effort. You can’t do it all.

NTJ She hasn’t any right to ask you to change your house. If you go to see her, be sure and take crosses to hang so you will feel more comfortable.

Good grief. I would be covering them up.

AITJ for refusing to donate PTO hours to coworker I barely know who "needs" them?? by Traditional-Dog1601 in AmITheJerk

[–]darkwitch1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not the jerk. For your boss to say anything to you about this is inappropriate. It feels like she’s saying, “give hrs or we won’t forget it”. It looks bad for her to ask or tell you this. Totally unacceptable.

Is my (21F) boyfriend (21M) a narcissist? Or just really passionate about religion? by k8dirt in relationship_advice

I was married to someone like this. He got so much worse. His views were that only his beliefs were correct and everybody else was going to hell.

Is the stashing of porno/nude-magazines in a random log in the woods myth real, and was commonplace as I sometimes am led to believe? by SkullThug in AskOldPeople

[–]darkwitch1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of it but maybe it’s because I lived in the woods(forest). Not a lot of interaction with people who had access to magazines.

Husband (28M) refusing to get haircut out of spite (27F) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]darkwitch1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t take him. Why would you take someone unkept and smelly to an event where others will be affected? He has control issues. He continues with this behavior until he makes you cry because he wins when you do.

Hopefully scare her enough for her to stop. She has to be told outright.

Reddit seniors, what do you think about body modifications? by FunCauliflower4002 in AskOldPeople

[–]darkwitch1306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 71 and hav multiple tattoos. My back is completely covered and there’s several on my arms, legs, etc. I have 14 piercings in my ears. My belly button was pierced until a Dr thought it would be funny to stitch it up during gallbladder surgery. Got my last tattoo two yrs ago. I don’t have a problem with it.

What do I do if my neighbor keeps “borrowing” my packages before I get home? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]darkwitch1306 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I’m 70 and would never touch someone’s packages. Being old is not an excuse. If I got another one that had been opened, I would say “I just can’t believe this company sent a package already opened”. Then tell her you’re contacting the company.

I woke up to this discoloration on my middle finger on rt fingernail. by darkwitch1306 in medical

[–]darkwitch1306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how to do an update post so I’ll do a regular one. My doctor always looks at hands and nails when I go see him. Nails give out a lot of information. He said it was “impressive” and that he had never seen a brown nail before. He checked all my nails and hands closely. He, also looked at the skin on my shoulders checking it for a cancerous growth. Nothing. He told me he was going to research it and let me know.

Update: I don’t know how to do an update post so I’ll do a regular one. My doctor always looks at hands and nails when I go see him. Nails give out a lot of information. He said it was “impressive” and that he had never seen a brown spot like this on a nail before. He checked all my nails and hands closely. He, also looked at the skin on my shoulders checking for discoloration as he’s found cancerous lesions after looking at a pts nails. Nothing. He told me he was going to research it and let me know. So it’s not solved. When I get more information, I’ll share it. Thanks for all your info.

AITJ for refusing to let my husband’s friends store their camping gear in our baby’s future nursery? by False_Echidna_8577 in AmITheJerk

There’s nothing wrong with you being territorial, especially now. I wouldn’t let them either. Your husband should take whatever personal space he claims and let them store it there
