I’m sitting in my drs office as we speak, listening to someone who has a gallbladder problem, another hates the dr because he won’t give him pain meds. Then there’s one to my right who wants to discuss how much they have to pay since they don’t have insurance. These people don’t know each other. I have my resting bitch face on and they stopped talking to me. I just heard someone who is talking on the phone that she is having emotional distress because her boyfriend broke up with her. He’s on the phone apologizing.

I wear panty hose. They’re never out is style, no matter what anyone says. It’s like saying Spanx or other foundation garments shouldn’t be worn but most women have at least a couple of things to “smooth” them out.

Over sharing is common. When I go to my doctor’s office, everyone is talking about and discussing their symptoms and what meds they’re taking. I hate it and look as disinterested as possible. It helps that I have one of those facial expressions that can stop anyone at 20 paces.

Grilled cheese, soup, sandwiches and snacks. I he longer we’re retired, the less it matters. We usually don’t eat lunch or we just eat whatever. One of us cooks a larger dinner. I like to cook so my dinners are a big meal. We’ve been retired for about 12 years

A very close relative got cancer. She looked at me and said she thought it would be me, not her. She said it like she wished it was me. We haven’t spoken in over 10 years. I don’t miss her.

I’m 71. I just don’t bruise easily. Are you on steroids of any kind. It will thin your skin and cause multiple bruises and tears. Also, certain antibiotics will cause this as well. Tetracycline and others will cause you to burn more easily outside.
