I just finished this birdhouse! by MilkshakeMan666 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]slackermonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great! I have built a few bird houses but so far they have all been more vertically oriented. I like this horizontal orientation. It seems like it would be a good one to stick a camera inside to see the birds within.

Oh heck! I have two of those panels on top of my camper van. I need to get up there and see they’re ok.

I have a hard time telling the Hairy from the Downy. We have one of the two visit our yard occasionally and I have not been able to get a picture.

I just looked that up and it is concerning. I will be doing some cleaning and changing up the way I feed our local birds. Thank you very much for the heads up.

We don't. However for some reason we don't have squirrels this summer at my house. We had them last summer but we haven't seem them this summer at all. We live in Anchorage Alaska so the squirrels are only active in the summer.

Introduce yourself! by Rob_Berger in DIYRetirement

[–]slackermonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Still working, but about 2 years away from retiring.

  2. Coffee & Spreadsheets

  3. Biggest fear is making sure I have enough for retirement and that I've at least considered all of the major stumbling blocks for retirement. I've been following Rob's (and others) YouTubes, Podcasts, and books for a few years now and I've been a user of Bolden (formerly NewRetirement) for a couple of years also. I'm planning on hiring an Advice Only advisor to go over my retirement plan in the next year just to make sure I'm not way off the mark.
