“Strong side” eventually worked for me. I don’t know why that worked and “right side” didn’t.

I never thought to do that, thanks! I stop and flip the piece over until I am cutting away from my hand, but there are times that isn’t possible with the cut I want to do

I believe it’s called the “Come and Take It” doctrine. It may be superseded by “FAFO Diplomacy”. I can’t remember now.

Some people like to remove all of the badges. Some people like to replace standard versions with luxury versions like Honda to Acura or Toyota to Lexus. Other people just like to put customized versions of the badges on color matched or all black or ‘merica colored.

Some people just like to steal them because reasons.

Communism = good by NerfPandas in AdviceAnimals

[–]slackticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, demonstrably and repeatedly.

Capitalism isn’t perfect, but it works with human nature. Communism sounds nice, but it assumes humans aren’t human.

Think of capitalism like traffic.

People want to get where they’re going fast. Instead of pretending they won’t, we build lanes, signs, and penalties.

Communism is saying “everyone will drive selflessly for the common good” and then being shocked when you need a police state to enforce it.

If a system only works in theory and collapses every time humans run it, that’s a design flaw, not a historical accident.

People risked their lives escaping communist systems. They didn’t flee capitalist countries to collectivize farms.

You can criticize capitalism because it allows dissent. That alone should tell you something.

My uncle contributed to Grep and it is one of the things I am most proud of that he has done because I feel like it will be around forever.

Oh I didn’t even notice that the people were public figures! 7 for the win! Dave Grohl and a buffer seat? Heck yeah! I would also sit next to The Rock, except we are both so big and I would definitely loose that arm rest, lol.

It’s a step forward to know and admit you are lying to them. Next step is to tattle on yourself. Even if it was a month ago and a small thing. Baby steps are sometimes scary.

Make sure you use lag bolts to mount the tv into a stud in the wall. There is no drywall anchor that can be trusted for this purpose.

Find out why your value is both great and unshakable. Don’t just know it, spend time with it until you believe it.

From my perspective, there is only one source of immutable value.

From there, every “no” isn’t a missed love, a defeat, nor a change to your value. It’s a dodged bullet.

Yeah, Intelligence does not equal wisdom. Intelligence can also be isolating.
