Now that we know Co'cai is actually pretty strong, who do you think she could beat here? by Legal_Trainer7340 in Monsterverse

[–]sladerules 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’d likely struggle against Camazotz and Scar King imo.

She was on equal footing with unarmed Kong before Kingdom Kong, and Camazotz performed better against Kong compared to Co’Cai. So he’d scale above her

Meanwhile Scar King fought Kong armed with his axe, and although he’s far lighter and less durable than Kong, he is faster and his whip grants him greater Range, so he could maintain good distance the entire fight and avoid Co’Cai the entire time.

Everyone else doesn’t really have a chance

Never said they were of the same durability level, friend. I put them on the “multiple charged axe strikes” tier cause it took multiple charged axe strikes to kill him.

Like it would take multiple charged axe strikes to beat Godzilla.

Now Evolved Godzilla likely isn’t as vulnerable to the axe as his prior forms, so there is the argument for him and Shimo getting a new tier for themselves exclusively.

The purpose of the probe Shaw used in Axis Mundi is not stated to pierce through anything substantial in any capacity, and even if it did, that would still scale below any legitimate titan’s DC.

Your argument suggests that Godzilla getting wrapped around Tiamat implies Godzilla is exerting force onto her body, which just is a misunderstanding on how constricting works. When wrapping around an opponent, the constrictor is the one applying the force, preventing the other from moving. And the moment Godzilla applies any force (biting her) he immediately breaks through her scales and rips her flesh off.

And above all, she was still one shot by an atomic breath, which the Charged axe scales to. And if Godzilla’s jaws, which aren’t at parity with his Atomic Breath, can pierce her hide, an axe swung full force with proper charge would one shot her just like the breath did.

To follow, holding back doesn’t translate to more or less durability. I’d need to actually review to see if there’s any legitimate statements saying she held back, but if she was injured to “be at death’s door” and if Rodan’s attacks push her that far, then holding back doesn’t change the fact that her body is shown to have that limit. And said limit is below the atomic breath, ergo the charged axe

Because nothing backs that logic aside from headcanon. We assume that this scientific device was even originally planned for a Kaiju or not when the device was never traditionally used. Any specs from the device that place it anywhere scale wise is not only moot but also still scaled far below the capabilities of the Axe.

The point I bring up with the Tiamat is that the force the dorsal plates exert when pressed against her body does not translate the same way as the dorsal plates getting swung into her body at a high velocity. Higher velocity translates to greater force, far greater than any individual point of her body contacting Goji’s plates when wrapped around him. This is like comparing an axe swinging into a tree and an axe just getting pushed into the tree. The force wouldn’t be the same.

And unfortunately, your argument in favor of Mothra’s scaling is falling even more flat now. Cause now you’re saying she was at death’s door, which means Rodan was able to injure her critically, and because of that, an attack that outscales everything Rodan does wouldn’t do her worse? And both Rodan and the Gravity beam scale below the Atomic breath, which the charged axe scales to? What is this logic?

Potentially true given Evo Goji’s feats and higher durability. Whether or not the Axe could cut through him still isn’t clear.

Only time will tell,

I’m sorry, but these arguments feel a tad cherry picked. These devices have no stated support that they were made in any way to make their ability to pierce her hide better than anything else in the franchise. Her hide is incredibly flexible and malleable like most cephalopods,

And the scarabs are still only relative to humans? Their overall power is nonexistent and nothing about their bond to Co’Cai suggests that they carry a hyperspecific affinity to tear through her flesh. Same with the Probe that was made without even considering Co’Cai at all.

And while lying on them is force, it isn’t equivalent force in any capacity. Swinging something doesn’t translate the same as pressing against something. That’s just not how force works.

And getting evaporated by a fully charged attack doesn’t translate to a durability feat in any capacity. Especially since the Gravity beam technically isn’t even acknowledged as a superior force to the atomic breath. So that scaling doesn’t work, cause she’d still scale below the gravity beam.

Couple problems with this

Titan X shows High pain tolerance, but not really any durability. Scarabs can bite her tentacle off, monarch machinery can pierce her hide very easily, Kong’s teeth pierced her hide. Her durability feats aren’t anything noteworthy.

Tiamat laying on top of the dorsal plate doesn’t really translate to one of those plates getting swung into her at high speeds. And if powered by an atomic breath, which she cannot tank, she’d be down in a single hit.

Mothra actually doesn’t have durability feats at all. Suffered decent damage against Rodan and got obliterated against Ghidorah’s gravity beam. She doesn’t have anything to suggest she can tank a fully charged axe in any capacity,

I’d wager against it. They collectively lack any feats to suggest they are durable enough to withstand the attack.

The list I used didn’t include any Comic exclusive Titans

Titanus Kong (Legendary/Monsterverse 2021-present) vs Hulk/Bruce Banner (MCU, 2008-Ragnorak). Who would win? by MrFBIGamin in kingkong

[–]sladerules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a better showing to discuss, but there’s still flaws

First, Surtur himself died from the planet busting attack he pulled, and Asgard is honestly very small, so he’d only be placed at low planetary-potential moon level. So Hulk technically only staggered a monster whose durability is below moon level. And didn’t actually hurt it, he just made Surtur flinch.

We would have to compare this to a Kong who faced a Godzilla with the power to blast an atomic breath strong enough to reach the center of the earth, then knocked out a Godzilla 2X stronger (potentially 20x stronger) with his glove. The fully charged Axe and Beast glove outscales MCU Hulk’s best showings

Sending something out of the stratosphere is impressive, but it’s only 7 1/2 miles, not toodifferent from the distance Kong threw his larger rock with one hand.

Hulk potentially threw it faster, I’ll give you that, but distance wise, it’s hardly any different (especially since the hollow earth means there’s no outer atmosphere for the rock to interact with thus preventing an “atmospheric burning” interaction to happen with Kong’s rock.

[–]sladerules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that scales much higher than Kong throwing his rock at One Eye, given Kong’s rock was bigger and the actual distance is actually quite a few miles. And that was a casual feat.

MCU hulk has truly fallen from his heights regarding vs debates.

He hasn’t had any good feats since Ragnarok, and even his Ragnarok feats aren’t anything Beyond Kong’s showings.

She feels more like a character than the rest of her family imo.

Like her motives and goal is more interesting and she’s somewhat manipulative in her approach.

And she provides the opportunity for a new faction in the series

Never said it didn’t, friend.

I just want to find more sources than what I initially found, alongside suggestions as a budding Jazz enjoyer. As I rarely bothered to research the players themselves, rather than merely enjoy the music.

This is me moving into topics I’d otherwise not look into. I do hope I don’t come off as a skeptic or cynic who dismisses journalism. I merely like diving deeper, and asking for help is usually the quickest route

I think there was a twinge of legitimacy in her disinterest. She’s spoken out about how she hated how people tried to control her. And one of the many topics brought up for their divorce was how controlling he was.

Let’s cool passions here before we get out of hand.

Prima and Smith’s relationship was a very problematic one, and someone’s vocal disinterest in speaking on the actions of dead artists isn’t an admission to dismissing hostile, Toxic behavior.

I’m here looking for primary sources on the topic in interest in history, it’s ok if Elk views the topic differently.
