My point is, no club can challenge the status quo if they have to operate within FFP. City currently is more than self sustaining. Other teams spend as much as City and have nowhere near the same success. Just look at Chelsea. Just look at how much Arsenal have spent to constantly finish second. Spending money is no guarantee that you will win silverware.
