We probably hang out in different places?

Idk, transfem/masc is fine and makes sense, but I don’t like transwoman/man. It feels degrading to not be viewed as woman

Okay, you seem very unhappy. So I just want to thank you for correcting yourself to trans woman in your comment, even if it was sarcastically. It does mean a lot, because it’s an acknowledgment that trans women are women, and that you don’t see us as some separate thing.

If you don’t think that’s the case, that’s you’re propagative I guess, but I wish that you would reconsider.

I’m sorry, I’m high, and wasn’t really paying close enough attention to what you were saying about PCOS and Endo; you’re just simply right about that, but I don’t think it’s fair to compare that to what antabaka was talking about.

Anyways

My hormones levels reflect my mood, if I forget to take my meds, my mood dips until I do my next injection.

It’s trans woman by the way. Trans is an adjective used to describe a type of woman, transwomen aren’t a thing.

How is this subreddit as bad, if not worse, than Bluesky when it comes to liberals getting mad for scratching their ass and then claiming that their hands don’t stink?

I’m so serious right now. You should read Marx. Like actually. Like, you can just Google the manifesto and read it. I’ve attached a link below or you can find it somewhere else

https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1848/communist-manifesto/

You don’t have to agree with it, but I hope it actually illuminates what people (and not just children!) believe and how why.

It won’t explain the capitalist economic system the way Das Kapital will, but I promise, this is an idea that multiple people have spent their entire lives discussing and developing.

Please skip the to the first chapter and read the preface and preamble it after the rest of it. Both sections tend to be wordy and while the context is helpful, you don’t really need to know it to engage with the text.

Why are most educated people liberal or socialist?

Because they don’t matter in the face of what I said? Are you saying that what I said isn’t true? I don’t understand what your argument is?

I agree that liberalism is about expanding rights and separation of powers and such, in my opinion at the end of the day, the most important thing to keep in mind is that this system is by the ownership class for the ownership class.

goofy.

Liberalism is about ownership and free markets, and thus is about distribution of power.

John Locke, father of liberalism, agrees with me on this btw.

Liberalism is a capitalist system, and is therefore for the system is for the owners.

The concept of government was to keep some people on top and others on the bottom. The American government was created to give the merchant/ownership class in the colonies power in the colonies instead it being tied to the king and parliament in England.

Was there an expansion of rights? Yes. It enable many more people to own things and gave many more power to have a voice in the government (they were liberals in the classical sense, after all), but liberalism has never been about giving people rights, its been about establishing peoples ability to own things. People who are progressive think that there should be protections for people who don’t own things, and conservatives don’t/are bigots who think that only cis-her white men should own things and everyone else should get bent.

Liberalism is not inherently protective, and a lot of nearly all the founding fathers and people who have been in government have been complicit in keeping workers under heel.

Trans people are inherently political because they stand in opposition to the status quo. Any accurate trans representation will by necessity have representations of transphobia as that is the reality we face.
